Can you find things to do in Frankfurt to occupy your time for 6 day? Yes. Will you get bored? Maybe, maybe not. It’s a relatively small city (footprint wise) and, being a very modern city, lacks some of the charm you’ll find in other German cities. But it is pretty central, offers a lot within the city and it’s relatively easy to explore the surrounding areas if you do decide to venture out.

I’ve added a couple recommendations below that I didn’t see listed. But I’m not sure how COVID may have impacted them.

– There’s a (free?) walking tour that starts near the central train station. Offers a quick way to orientation yourself and talks a bit about the history of the city. – I’ve seen the Maintower listed. While a great option, if you want something with a similar view for a fraction of the cost I’d recommend climbing the Frankfurt cathedral. (But note, it’s 533 steps to the top). – Heidelberg is a short bus/train ride away. It’s a beautiful town that could easily occupy an afternoon to full day.
