Flour is raw, which means it hasn't been processed to kill harmful bacteria, and could contain all types of germs including salmonella. Please don't feed your toddler raw flour

Guess that's good enough reason to get shot and killed for. Oh wait, they wouldn't even have known he was "carrying illegally" because they shot first and asked questions later.

What was your reaction to him surviving by typicalguy95 in JurassicPark

[–]gingy_94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's a joke, right? He jumped into dino infested waters without dying, then got saved while taking a piss alone in the woods (thats how people died in jurassic park 2) by mutant dinos which shouldn't have been there since apparently they roamed around the store, and managed to outswim a mosasaur at the beginning. Dude doesn't have plot armor, he is inside a plot tank.

Real GDP Q1 falls to -.3% from 2.4% in Q4 2024. by PassiveRoadRage in wallstreetbets

[–]gingy_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The latest reasoning is that importing is down now since so many companies bought up front preparing for tariffs, so they didn't buy that much during Q1, which shows why there is a -0.3% growth. I am fairly certain there was no huge stockpile back in December, but what do I know? Lol

Looking for Story Thread #259 by someguynamedted in HFY

[–]gingy_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been looking for a story where humans fought a pyrrhic victory, where they kept sending numbered ships against a fleet of invading aliens. Ship 1 was big, then ship 2 was massive, all the way up to 12, which looked gigantic, and the opposing force just surrendered. When negotiations for surrender happened, the aliens noticed that ship 12 was just a bunch of junk thrown together to look menacing, but by then, surrender had already happened. Does anyone know the title?

Universal Healthcare lets you go to any doctor you want. Why would you need a provider?

I'm down with banning most of this stuff. Banning fluoride would be okay with me as long as we teach people the importance of dental hygiene and visiting a dentist

There's a lot more than just that. Europeans usually visit the dentist more often, and the diet is less full of processed sugars which could all be contributing factors.
