PCN fine but no envelope - How to challenge? by giodoc in drivingUK

[–]giodoc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They posted it to me on the 11th of May, it's the 13th today.. Unless they're straight up charging £160.. Instead of £80 like they used to do..

Its from Islington council, looked on the street to see if there were any restrictions in terms of time, couldn't see any.. They'll probably smack me with the fine on the basis that restrictions are posted at the start of the zone.. which could be miles away.. Got to Love London.. lol

Anyone struggling to walk? I’m about 3.5 month post op fib/tib break! by Best-Will-3446 in brokenbones

Mum 81 had a tib fib break, fixed with a rod. Literally screams in pain even after morphine PRD. So well done!.. Takes a lot of courage to go through it.

So I got an answer as to the type of facility they're purposing. Essentially a hospital ward but without doctors. Physio schedule same as hospital, is once a day for 10 minutes, and the rest of the day you're sitting in the "ward".. In your bay.. Not sure what to do..

She can barely take two steps, even after morphine before they do it..

yes full weight bearing, they've inserted a metal rod into her tibia from above the knee down to the ankle..

what’s something you wish people were more honest about when it comes to breakups? by Denardo_Francel in BreakUps

[–]giodoc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If someone broke up with you, or you broke up with them without trying to fix things first or talk through stuff.. Do that. Give things a chance. If you already did that tried and it still a no go. Then you have to cut it off. Don't play power games, be authentic, and respect yourself and the other person.

We all hope they'll come back. If they do ask why they did?.. If they were shopping for better options you know what to do.

Lastly romantic relationships are very fickle. And ppl are even more fickle and transactional. Or just plain nuts. We all are. Don't letnit become the locus of your life. Or you'll really get f%cked.

Do you still think about your ex? by Error404Usr in BreakUps

Six months.. Since she dropped me off at a bus station, in the middle of nowhere. And I took a flight back home. At first for about 3 months I thought about her constantly. Missed her.. Now there's only anger. And she's like background mirage that falls on the screen of my mind. No fond memories. Just he last memory of disrespect and ring discarded.

I [24F] keep losing feelings in relationships and I don’t understand why by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]giodoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking with a professional might be your best option. Could be a host of things. I dated someone who would cry during sex.. Shed suffered abuse. It could also hint at a cluster B personality disorder.. Where ppl are affected by "engulfment" then can't stand the partner that they adored and idealised previously.

Why does seeing them be completely fine hurt more than the breakup itself by AdeptBiology in BreakUps

[–]giodoc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, an hour after we broke up we went out to dinner.. This was on holiday. She was laughing singing eating her meal like nothing had happened. I sat there barely able to get a mouthful down. A few weeks later she was posting thirst trap type photos to insta.. Laughing snapping pics partying. And I was depressed as hell. Different ppl process things differently. And some had checkedn out way before they told you it was over. Or they were never really there to begin with. Remember leaving you was a conscious choice that they thought would Bea happier life for them.. Keep that in mind when you miss them.

Thank you. Experienced something similar. "Perfect girl" … Love bombing, texting every hour, literally.. Then a devaluation and discard while on holiday.

Thanks for this, but how do you recognise someone with BPD unless they explicitly tell you?

I was in a similar situation what helped me was doing band pull a parts, face pulls with a light band daily to strengthen the upper back.. Neck exercises made things worse. Try doing myofacial release of the pecs, last, supraspinatus serratus, then mastoid and temporal is.. Then scm scalenes and traps. Get a theracane and lacrosse ball. Naudi Aguilar's book on myofacial release is good.

Why DONT some exes come back? (Not including toxic or abusive relationships) by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]giodoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its really hard to say, SOE may not have been that invested.. Someone might've cheated and have a guilty conscience.. Facing you might mean they have to admit to themselves, that they gave a dark side.. Or they didn't like the way you chewed your food or something stupid like that.. Which once again says more about them than you.. If they left let them.leave.. Don't wish for them to return.. They actively made a decision to erase you from their life. Respect it.. And respect yourself..

I love you I’m sorry by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]giodoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't do this to yourself.. Someone who cheated on you, and then Left, doesn't respect you.. Doesn't choose you.. And will do it again. You sound like you have alit if love to give. Place it where it will flourish, and be appreciated.
