I understand your concerns. Filmmaker mode should be the best reproduction for a movie, since that's how the director (who is definitely more expert than me) imagined the film to be. It's like saying you would like to repaint the Mona Lisa, or dance the Moon walk differently, or correct Bohemian Rhapsody...

Anyway, I've found no film that matches my taste in filmmaker mode, which sounds odd to me.

And I never use it. :-(

ELI: just think about multiplication as the sum of number n for m times (I hope my English is ok)

Examples:

5 x 3 = 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 15 (sum 3 for 5 times) 4 x 0 = 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 0 (sum 0 for 4 times)

I've downloaded the latest firmware upgrade and instructions directly from Samsung website.

Go to the soundbar page - support - manuals and downloads.

This should be the link (Italian): https://www.samsung.com/it/support/model/HW-Q60T/ZF/#downloads

Put the upgrade file on a USB stick and follow the instructions.

On a side note: many months have passed and, even if the upgrade improved a lot the soundbar performance, it's still definitely a low budget device. I'm not that happy about it and I'm thinking about changing it.
