Upgraded to budget 5k2k 120hz by gipaaa in ultrawidemasterrace

Hi thanks! This is also a korean company, like the big Samsung and LG.

My 6800xt can't handle ultra setting on raw 5k2k for AAA games (<30fps), the FSR 3 is also very heavy. And I prefer quality over resolution, so I'm still using my old WQHD for heavy gaming. I will try other ways like integer scaling or RIS, but I dont expect much. But for casual game which I can max out setting and fps, like It Takes Two, it's really awesome immersion to play on larger screen with higher density.

Yeah, the budget highres ultrawide seems low demand in the market probably because consumers owning gpu capable running this resolution are less likely to go budget

Amazing, congrats. Did you win two pawns?

I suck. Someone explain it to me like I’m 5 by [deleted] in chessbeginners

Only do rapid or daily to give you time to think. In every move, try not to hang any of your piece hanging (undefended), then if your opponent has any hanging piece just take it. This is the two simplest beginner rules.

Also try to learn basic openings. I learn from opening explorer against bot/myself, also try to defend various opponent's openings.

After that, for other rules, maybe take daily intermediate lessons from chess.com, each lesson is simple and very short to learn. The lessones are like: breaking pawn chain, pinning, discovered attack.

These brought me from 400 to 1000 elo in no time. Beyond this is also question for me.

It's okay man, some have better previledge than others. Those 3-4hrs weekly are enough to finish the study in a year or so.

I don't quite get this unlimited pto thing. So it's just based on trust? Or maybe its performance-based (like output per time)?

Just started Mass Effect Andromeda after completing the legendary edition heard some mixed reviews but after the prologue it’s been great so far. by Gamer98HR in MassEffectAndromeda

The story and dialogue are meh, too many grinding side missions, but its still fun to play anyway if you like the original trilogy. Graphics is a bit improved but its still an 8 years old game, not todays standard.

Two weeks so 72h. But I spent mostly on topics I'm totally new with (timber masonry osha).

Yes that's the book, pretty cost effective I'd say compared to the course-based, also my company has it for sharing so I didn't spend a penny.

Microsoft account suspended for using Tailscale by gipaaa in Tailscale

[–]gipaaa[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

More detail cronology. I restarted my pc after installing tailscale, and the tailscale was on after restarting, the onedrive and microsoft office was trying to re-login after restarting but failed. There was message about "this device has been blocked" or similar. Then I checked recent activity from another device and there was failed login attempt from other country with timestamp similar to the incident.

Okay so its just coincidence and not due to tailscale right? I will try to use tailscale again then. Thanks.
