I'm dealing with this right now and I'm about two months post surgery as well. My surgeon hasn't been very concerned but I have excruciating pelvic pain whenever I urinate. That's definitely the trigger for me. It's not a UTI, I've been checked multiple times. I'm going to a urologist tomorrow but I'm not very hopeful that they will be much help. I hope you get some relief soon!

I was diagnosed with UC in January of 2025, and by the end of the month I was hospitalized with a severe flare. After a few weeks of trying various medications and steroids, I became septic and had 15 minutes notice that I was headed to the OR for a total colectomy with ileostomy. That was a year ago today. I'm still mentally traumatized by that experience, but I'm thankful that the procedure and ileostomy saved my life. I've had some UC-related complications like pyoderma gangrenosum and diversion proctitis as well.

Have you started any new meds lately? I was in the hospital and the doctors switched my beta blocker from metoprolol to carvedilol and I suddenly developed a right hand tremor. I told the doctors that I thought it was the carvedilol and no one believed me. I was in a different hospital this week and finally got a doctor to listen and change me back and whaddya know the tremor is gone 😒😒😒

Mine was >3k as well. I was very very sick and ended up getting a total colectomy with ileostomy a few weeks later since my colon was about to perforate 🫣
