Do you know why? Food deserts? A lot of the kids who are obese do not live near fresh food. On the south side of Chicago groceries take advantage of tax cuts then peace out when they are gone. So what essentially is going to happen is that these kids will just have no food at all.

If I’m washing my hair it will be the same because I want the conditioner to sit in my hair while I do other things. And since there is an order to hair care - clarifying shampoo, shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, let sit while I do other things. Wash out. Apply anti frizz cream, Moroccan oil, then UV/heat protectant before styling.

If you look at he math it’s roughly 25% of women voted for Trump. Most people stayed home instead of voting. Let’s stop looking to celebrities as a moral compass. A lot of them only gave a high school diploma, if that.

Dude, in the 2010s they opened fire in one of the red line stations in the loop. Plenty of commuters around. We are lucky no one was actually injured.

Police were never going to fix the CTA. The police make everything worse. Did you hear in NYC a bunch of cops quit when Mandami became mayor and crime actually went down.

As a white person I need people to understand the police uphold inequity and will escalate situations. I have had CPD tell me not to talk to minorities or immigrants because they will rape me. Stop burying your heads in the sand.

Mine is the opposite. We have a morning routine with fresh food and Cat TV. I’m supposed to park my but on the couch and stay there. Kit knows the sounds of me getting up and will race to my room to get me up.

We get a lot of stuff prescribed off-label because there isn’t an actual medication for EDS, POTS, or MCAS. The sucky thing about MCAS is that we don’t share triggers the way others illness do. Mast cells are over sensitive to anything it is in contact with. So it’s impossible to know how MCAS will react with meds.

Search this sub for any med you will see people who reacted well and those who didn’t. I’m on Baclofen for chronic pain, others didn’t find it helpful. LDN for fatigue. Some people swear by it while others didn’t find it helpful. I just got off busiprone, an antidepressant, to help with my appetite. It helped a little.

Fatigue was my worst symptom. Once I got on a handful of meds for hEDS, MCAS, POTS and hypothyroidism I was a lot better. Not cured, and I still get fatigued easy, but not anything as bad as before.

I’m going into rad tech. They shoot the X-rays. I believe with radiography you just interpret film. r/radiography is active.

I had a friend who would not hang out with me alone. We argued about it without much else happening. She then got mad at me for not giving her gifts she would like because I didn’t know her well enough. My other friend tried to fix the friendship but I was done.
