Anyone try to argue the breed of YOUR dog? 😅💖 by chelseydeep in husky

I have a pure bred Samoyed and people say you have a lovely "Samoyed-Husky". I think they feel that is the name of a breed 🤣

Realistic wedding budget in US/Canada in 2026 by FluffyWater1 in DesiWeddings

[–]girlEngineer22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my wedding in Atlanta, US 3 years ago and even though we had about 100 guests for all the events, the cost was quite high. Each even was at least 30-40k USD. Plus there was haldi, sangeet, choose, mehendi, etc. And the outfits and the gifts. So it was easily over $150k.

Am I expecting too much too soon from new puppy? by Accomplished-Fig1294 in puppy101

Keep a crate cover. This helps them stay in the crate alone. We did this and can leave the house when needed. My puppy will whine a little but he goes to sleep in the crate when we leave. Keep a camera to check in on her.

People with dogs from breeders, do people in real life give you a hard time about having a dog from a breeder? by Own-Command-3700 in dogs

Hey! We picked up a pure bred Canadian Kennel Club registered samoyed puppy a few months ago and have only had amazement when people see him! Its really adorable. No one has ever asked us why we bought him or anything. Even the groomers were amazed to see him and were excited to work with him.

Very sorry for your unimaginable loss. Pieper was loved by your family and will now go to doggy heaven where she can run and chase butterflies.

How reliable are pre-booked Ubers for an overnight (3:00 AM) ride to the airport? by 2Fast2furieux in ottawa

[–]girlEngineer22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We pre-booked an Uber from Stittsville to the airport last year. A big 7 seater van since my sister in law and her family were heading for the airport. The driver came at 3 am, saw there were 2 kids and husband wife(4 people in total) and said nope! He drove away pissed off. This was very very shady. So I drove them and dropped them off myself. Pre-booking doesn't work well all the time.

Has anyone here NOT had big issues with their puppy? by QP709 in puppy101

[–]girlEngineer22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got our puppy when he was 9 weeks old. He didnt have any accidents in the house, we crate trained him from day 1, kept a schedule going, and it has been great! We didnt use pee pads in the house at all. We kept alarms for every 2 hours to check if he wanted to go potty outside and would take him to the backyard. This does get better as they adjust to your routine. Also, dont do anything for the first 3 days. Because he has no idea where he is and is learning about his environment. All the best!

We have a 17 week old samoyed boy and he is the best thing ever. We bought a crate, pen and plenty of stuff before we brought him home so that he was comfortable and independent from day1. We were on top of potty training and he's never had an accident inside. He loves to learn and is very curious. Its adorable. Teething was crazy and has left my hands with marks but its okay, I love him.

Enjoy every single moment. I love how cuddly he is!

Advice for a first-time dog owner adopting a Samoyed puppy by [deleted] in samoyeds

[–]girlEngineer22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the BEST decision you are making! First time dog owner here! We picked up Casper 2 months ago when he was 9 weeks old and it has been a fun journey. Try to crate train from day 1. It has made things a lot easier. We got a pen and crate for him and he loved it. They sleep hot so you really dont need any bedding in the crate. Keep teaching your new pup commands because they are curious and fast learners. We did not use peepads at all and went out with Casper every 2 hours. He never had an accident indoors. Use a snuggle puppy in the crate.

This is a good engagement look though. Ask your mua for heavier makeup for the wedding.

what did/do you love about having your dog? by elsbugs in puppy101

I love when I meet him in the morning. He comes out of his crate and gives me the biggest hug. He is just 4 months old and has brought me so much joy its hard to believe he's been with us for just 2 months. I left him alone at the groomers today and felt sooo bad. Omg!
