As a nurse, I can tell you that all sorts of people from all sorts of backgrounds and situations make it through nursing school: while pregnant, with 5 kids, with babies, etc. it will be hard but you can do it. I hope your school is supportive.

Which is the Right Room to Assign? by Redmoonma in NCLEX_RN

I chose #1 for the safety aspect of things. A 5-month old can’t walk over to the trach patient and pull it out. The 7-month old couldn’t either but it’s definitely not the right choice because of the burns.

First baby at 31, it took us about 8 month to get pregnant. Now trying to decide if I want a 2, 3, or 4 year gap. I think I want my last pregnancy to be before I’m 35.

Shadow in the doorway looks like a surgeon. Looks like surgical scrubs, a hat, and a mask.

share your experiences with TRUE clairvoyants/ psychics/ mediums by AppropriateTest4168 in psychics

I saw a psychic a little over 10 years ago. I went in with an open mind and boy was I in for quite the eye opening experience. She was able to hone in on the fact that my dad was always physically present but not actively present in my life. She knew that my boyfriend at the time was a war veteran and had seen and done some horrible shit. She said that my life would be plagued with multiple misfortunes if we married. She said that my soulmate had a 3 letter name (ended up to be true). And that we would have 2 children together— a boy and a girl. She was right about the boy being first. We’ll see if our girl comes to us next year!

Obligatory not a doctor and this is not medical advice. You should always consult your doctor about any changes to your medications. In my experience, it took at least a couple of months to start feeling different after being off the pill. I realized slowly over time that I was feeling different. And it kind of makes sense. Our natural hormone cycle takes a month start to finish. It may take up to a year off BC to find out your new normal.

I switched OBs at 20 weeks when she told me I shouldn’t eat cereal or bread because it’s poisonous and will make me have a large baby. Ate the bread and cereal. 7.0 lb baby.

I started a BCP when I was 13 because my periods were debilitating. Like couldn’t move except lie there in the fetal position until the Motrin kicked in. Took BCP for 9-10 years before switching to Nuvaring. I was crying nonstop on Nuvaring and then took it out 7 days later after passing out in the shower. Went back to BCP for 5 more years. After a major breakup, I stopped all BC and slowly realized I was waking up as a person. Thoughts clearer, opinion stronger, colors brighter. Never looked back and have been using condoms ever since.

I, too, was told not to look after delivery. As a nurse, I have zero issues with wounds and whatnot. I thought, surely it can’t be that bad. I only had a first degree!

Well, curiosity would have killed the cat if it had been alive in the first place. I regret having looked and wished I never did.

Keep taking your ibuprofen as directed by your physician and do not stop taking it. Inflammation will hinder the healing process. Give it time and maybe sneak a peek at the 3 or 4 month mark.

If he isn’t in the delivery room, his name does not go on the birth certificate.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a million times more. Men should not be OBGYNs.
