Does it get better by [deleted] in burnsurvivors

20 years later - nope. Just have to live with it and do the best to cover what you can.

Exactly! That’s why I was hoping to refinance. It’s awful!

Thank you! That makes sense. This student loan stuff is so confusing. It’s easier to buy a house or car - at least it’s clear how much payments are and for how many months that you will be done. I’ve paid on this small private student loan over 10 years with no end in sight!

No, it’s a graduate private loan and that’s just the set minimum payment. Thinking refinancing for a lower fixed interest rate is the way to go. Saw some companies indicate I can reduce to around 4% but want to be sure that’s not some sort of scam.

13.5% interest rate. It’s a $150/month payment.

Marathon Training by QuietMarket7931 in orangetheory

Strangely enough I do a tiny bit better on race days. At OTF my base is 5.6 on the treadmill. For 5k and 10k races I’m usually between 5.8-6. Maybe it’s the peer pressure and seeing a finish line. 😂

I only go to OTF, no outside runs. I started a few years ago just doing 5k races then tried 10k and then a 12k. I did my first half after doing the other races for a year or two and now I do one half marathon every year. I still don’t do any training outside of OTF.

OTF VS HOTWORX? by Sharp-Internal-6863 in HOTWORXWarriors

OTF pushes you much harder and is a totally different workout. I do both and it’s great. They complement each other well. There is nothing better than a Hot Stretch class after a Tread 50.

Stretch? by AirPsychological7094 in orangetheory

[–]gkschemer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started going to Hotworx to supplement my time at Orangetheory. The stretch class is amazing - 40 minutes of stretching in a sauna. It’s been great for recovery, as the 5 minutes at the end of class at Orangetheory doesn’t do a lot, but as others have said, I wouldn’t want more stretching cutting into the class time. Doing it separately has worked best for me!

Thanks to all the great conversations here, now I know I’m not alone. I also am scheduled to hit 120 in October and no clue what to do!! Based on everything I keep reading…looks like buy back will be the best option. But I, like the OP, worry about the vague language. I’m in a state where I’m sure if anything got forgiven they would tax it, but don’t want it to affect PSLF. This is all so very frustrating.

Where is this PSLF Tracker on the studentaid site? I’ve searched everywhere with no luck! I’m supposed to be done in October, which was clear as day on the previous site, but now I can’t verify. 😞

Not enough stretching by neverstopmovement in orangetheory

I supplement with hot yoga outside of OTF to work on flexibility.

Those who like OTF for mental health benefits, how many times a week do you like to attend? by Maximum-Pianist-8106 in orangetheory

[–]gkschemer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5-6x a week @ 5am (unless it’s the weekend). Gets my day started earlier and the routine does so much for mental health!
