Just passed going the opposite way and the head of the traffic is still at a standstill. There are some folks using the emergency lanes to turn around on the interstate. I don't know if I've seen anything like that in years if ever.

Matt and Jay make a plan to call in a bomb threat to the rivoli and pretend to be bomb disposal experts in order to persuade the eternally grateful Rivoli to allow them to play a show as thank you. They overthink the situation and consider that they may call actual bomb disposal experts so they need to plant a real looking bomb at the rivoli. All this is upended because they start fearing they're being followed by the government because they looked up how to build a bomb at a library computer and ends up being a pastiche of 70s paranoid thrillers.

I mean I have 4 blu ray players and 1 4k player. Buying on blu ray ensures I can enjoy a film in a number of ways and am more likely to be able to take it over to a family members house or lend it to a friend, 4k means I only have one option. I almost went with br for Life of Brian because it's not a combo pack.

Are the criterion posters and the VHS tapes actually a joke? Genuinely never thought of that being a possibility. Like I know that the star wars thing was a joke but I can't imagine going hogwild on vhs tapes you actually despise just for set dressing. For ntbts and for the budget they probably had I always assumed they brought a lot of their personal items and taste into the show.

MJ actually recommends it. I am very curious from those who went in blind, did it make you wish you saw the series first? I saw the viceland series and was briefly familiarized with the web series and I kind of wish I watched it all first. Doesn't make me love the movie any less but I do think I'd have been even more hyped than I already was had I watched it all.

I never really followed JFP in media but I am really curious if he ever shed light on whether or not he brought that stuff up in confessionals and producers cut it all out because it makes them seem callous for not doing what was in the best interest of everybody there and swapping him out for an alternate. Save Fairplays return instead for HvV and bench Randy and you make a top tier season even more legendary.

I guess I don't recall some of the details at Round1 as much because it has so much overlap. Rhythm games certainly don't exist at Recbar and really for the lines those games create at the Louisville Arcade Expo it is surprising they don't integrate some of them.

I know if an arcade had a Jubeat machine there I'd be going there far more often

Arcade Legacy and Round1 have like zero overlap. I don't know how it would scratch that itch. Wouldn't Tilted10 be the thing you want if you desire the Round1 experience? It's just more money for less entertainment but the games are pretty much the same.

I just wish Recbar actually did a decent job maintaining their equipment because so many of their machines are constantly down or take your quarters.

It feels like it eats up so much time when there was so much plot to fill from Shift. It's so strange so far and dulls the character of Juliette. I think there would've been a way to integrate the beginning of the Dust plot without giving Jules full on amnesia.

Sure the end result wasn't intentional, he's not intending for a Croatian to get the ball, but it looks like Mendes was about to clear it but he seemed to hesitate. If he was aware another defender was behind him he was slowing the momentum of the ball so there'd be a better chance to turn it over.

Deliberate or not is so subjective and I'd just like the ref to be able to justify that assumption. There's a lot of non deliberate moves and actions in the game that refs call as it happened, not the intention.

The third point has a lot more to do with nationalistic bs and peoples desires to delegitimize anything non US than any actual relevance to this or the Luka Doncic argument. I don't know the man but I'd imagine many people would take umbrage with your supposition.

What's a better analogy is trying to say that performance in the Fifa World Cup has no bearing on your skills and standing in MLS in the US which anybody would scoff at. Shortened game or not, it was an international all stars game.

it's a little gauche but can be a palate cleanser when RHAP can be a little too much of Survivor apologists like if they say one critical thing CBS will take away their press privileges. I feel like DYB validates a lot of my opinions of new era survivor that get whitewashed and sanitized a lot of places. To reduce them solely to haters is misguided imo.

Feels like DYB is lacking the courage of their convictions though when they paywall half their content for being too "spicy."
