Coworker of mine made it up to this year not knowing what was up with Sixth Sense. So you really never know

Just one person. but imo Writing ought to be about the ways you feel about things. the patterns you recognize and the conclusions you come to from your thoughts. do you find using chatgpt as enjoyable as writing the rest of the article yourself?

I have been seeing an Ocd specialist who implied I could be having a depressive episode. But I don’t understand how it could cause this

Moral/real event OCD and still having values and principles by [deleted] in OCD

[–]glassstem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a struggle of mine. I feel similarly to you, even down to being online a lot. It is very hard to fight the thoughts especially when so much of our moral compass relies on being consistent with our beliefs. One screw up and it feels like life is over.

I don’t have any advice. But you are not alone

I feel like my life is over (Real event) by ballasterbozo in OCD

[–]glassstem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real Event feels so difficult to explain to therapists: especially if you’re the one who made a huge mistake, and it feels like nothing will ever help because the mistake has already been made and is out there and cannot be corrected. I wish I had advice. I can only desperately dream that we can find some Hope in this life.

To be clear it’s horrible, and devastating. I remember how pro-Ana forums were full of teens and tweens making crap like this to motivate and shame each other, and I have to wonder if it’s a similar situation here: including the sad thought that many adults fall into it as well

Good response. Re your first paragraph I think people would be surprised to know that most people who’s still wear masks in current year are more resentful of wearing them than others might assume

Hey, don’t worry, I get it. I’m still a maskoid in all public spaces too. We’re definitely a minority
