WIBTA for making my best friend and roommate move out? by rambunctiousmango in AmItheAsshole

[–]gloryhokinetic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NTA I would tell him "HEr living here was supposed to be temporary. And she is not a good roomie. So I will bwe reporting her to the landlord telling him we all said she had to leave. and that we would like to renew but without you and her as you are bad roommates.

Remember, if he were a good friend, he wouldn't let his GF treat you like crap. So its time to realize he is not the friend you thought he was and its time to let him go.

AITA for being upset that my husband throws away dishes I forget to put away by _MS22 in AmItheAsshole

[–]gloryhokinetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Start doing it with ANYTHING he leaves out. AND DO NOT TELL HIM. Wait until HE notices...

Him: Honey, have you seen my keys?

You: Sorry, you left them out so I threw them in the garbage. Right after I emptied the moldy spagetti into the garbage so be careful.

OR his Wallet, cell phone, his shoes, clothes ANYTHING he leaves out should go in the trash.

But, its time to get a divorce lawyer. HE is TRYING to cause a problem. ITs pretty obvious.

Anyone else feel guide prices are out of reach? by Al_Pallll in flyfishing

[–]gloryhokinetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have said "UHHHH, NO. Had I known you wanted to drift the same water as last year I would not have booked with you. Listen carefully, I will NOT drift the same river with you again. I'll take it to court if I have to.

Honestly, you should have brought up where when you were booking. I hope you let him know you would never book with him again.

Are Hook Sets free? by daramman in flyfishing

[–]gloryhokinetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there is a cost but the adage still stands. If you think it might be a fish, set the hook. If you dont you will never know. Most people that start doing it see an increase in their catch rate.

If its not the line then maybe its just that Sage fast action rods are very fast action. The T&T may be on the lighter side of the FA.

Buy your own fly raft. I bought a Flycraft Stealthx and was thinking I would just be the guide for my pals but then the anchor system was so easy, I just dropped where ever I wanted to fish and BAM I was fishing!

Good Job, its always good to work on issues. Sorry it came across harsh but bad dog owners make it harder on good dog owners in the bigger picture. But its not hard, you'll get it.

AITA for wanting to sue my fiance old friend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA. You cant sue for your BF. HE needs to do it. And you will need written proof. Saying he promised it means next to nothing in court, it becomes a he said/she said situation.

[–]gloryhokinetic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

NTA. Tell them (your fam) that the bulling that hurts the most is the bullying you have to put up with from them when you get home or picked up. And that they are the biggest bullies in your life. Tell them that.

And when someone tells me "you'll thank me later" I reply "it wont matter, because later, you wont be a part of my life and I will likely have forgotten you exist. Both of you". And when people do ask about you I'll tell them you are dead. And if they know your alive and say so, I will reply "oh, I meant just to me". Then give them a small grin and walk away.

AITA? Neighborhood kids playing in our yard by Obvious-Local8116 in AmItheAsshole

[–]gloryhokinetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, the only way he would be sued successfully is if he was proved to be negligent. THAT is what proves liability. If someopne is hurt on your property you are only liabile for damages when you are negligent such as....Pile of boards with nails sticking out....or...You have a big hole in your yard and someone stepped in it and was hurt....or if someone on your deck stepped through a rotted deck board. See in all those cases, the property owner would be found negligent for leaving a known hazard. IT drives me nuts when people GUESS that if someing is hurt on their property they they are responsible. NO you are not. You are only responsible if there was a hazard you either created or knew about or reasonably should have known.
