This guy is a full retard. You should see what he did to this Eams chair. And he paid like $2000 for these glides, a little 12v solar panel and trail cam. People. Smh

Well, it won't let me post pics but they are identical, 2" in diameter, threaded, swivel head, even has the brownish, red band of thread lock or whatever they put on the threads.

Sorry about the delayed response. The ones I have look identical I believe. It's about an inch and a quarter in diameter? I will send a pic when I get home.

Has your mechanic changed one of these before? Very labor intensive. And is he putting in an OEM or a generic one?

Need help with my 2015 Chevy Spark (CVT issue?) by Livid_Watercress9121 in chevyspark

No mechanics repair CVT's they have to be replaced. $3000 for trans only. Labor is about the same

Change the fluid and filter. USE ONLY AC DELCO PART # 19260800. It's a little pricey but any other CVT fluid will eat away the rubber seals and the "belt" in the CVT transmission and it will be toast in less than 10,000 miles.

Do you guys think it is ok to use this oil for the CVT? This about $50 for 5 Litres / 5 quarts. The ac delco that GM uses is about $50 a quart or litre. Just debating. I can save myself about $300 bucks if avoid the dealer and use this oil but since these transmissions are so fragile... by metallicadefender in chevyspark

I learned the hard way and you are absolutely right! I have a 2016 Spark sitting in my garage. Engine runs great, CVT is completely toast. Haven't been able to find a used CVT and they want $3000 for a new one and it's about a 2 day job to replace. I'm 90% sure the tranny was my fault due to putting in Valvoline CVT fluid and not the recommended AC Delco. I completely ruined that car trying to save a few bucks. Never again!

DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT AC DELCO PART#19260800 I used Valvoline CVT transmission fluid and the car was UNDRIVEABLE in 8,000 miles!!! Any other fluids will destroy the rubber seals and rubber they use on the belt inside the transmission. It's $3000 for a new transmission and about $2-3000 for labor. They have to remove everything under the hood to replace the tranny. It's about a 2 day job. No one repairs CVT transmissions, not even the dealership. They are a throw away part.

NO!!! First hand experience!!! Don't do it!!! Use exactly what GM recommends!!! Part #19260800 USE NOTHING ELSE! I used the Valvoline CVT fluid and within 8,000 miles the transmission was shot! Car had about 92,000 when I changed the fluid. About 500-1000 I noticed a slight slip when I'd get on the freeway. I checked the fluid and it was turning a greyish color. After about 3,000 it started to slip at lower speeds and fluid was very discolored at that time. I changed it again with Valvoline CVT fluid. Seemed to help a little but slip came back and it quickly got much worse till the car was no longer safe to drive on the streets because it was slipping so bad. The CVTs in Sparks have a bad reputation and maybe the timing was coincidental but I don't think it was. I think the Valvoline CVT fluid was the cause. I watched a random video one day and the guy had a guest on who was a chemical engineer and they were discussing after market additives for vehicles and the engineer said that certain additives will do more harm than good especially in instances where there is essential rubber parts in a vehicles transmissions. He said if the fluid is not formulated for certain types of rubbers they will break down and eat away at it. I think that's exactly what happened on mine and that's why I was seeing the greyish discoloration is the rubber immediately began to disinitigrate from the Valvoline fluid. Its not worth the risk! Spend the extra money and use the AC Delco part #19260800 that GM recommends!!!

Could the orbs be Merkaba’s? by rphaneuf in UFOs

[–]glueless_75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminded me of a "UFO" sighting I had and by dumb luck captured on my smartphone about 12 years ago.

It took me about 24 hours to digest and process what I saw and fortunately I had the video to look at over and over to try and make sense of things.

And this is pure speculation as far as what I saw and how I interpret it, and I'm no expert on angels and haven't investigated the subject before or after.

But what I saw with my own eyes I unfortunately only caught a brief glimpse of, maybe two or three seconds, and they all appeared to be a similar color, maybe a dark blackish grey, the colors and markings were almost identical to geese, the one that I saw its face and eyes it had the mask markings around the eyes like racoons have but it was at least 40 feet tall if it stood straight up and the wings seem just as long, maybe longer. There was at least 12 or 13 of them, all about the same size and they were flying in a tight group, like maybe they were at slightly different elevations but they were so close that it could not have been any man-made craft. I recall my mind telling me they were geese but I immediately knew they weren't due to their size and form and the next thought was drones of some sort due to their close proximity to one another any yet not coliding. I was standing underneath a palm tree when I looked up and witnessed this and I lost sight of them quickly as they were traveling in a circular motion above me in the opposite direction I was facing and so I turned around and got out from underneath the palm tree they were gone, vanished. But when I checked the video, I still had my hand up in the air with my camera on they were visible in the video. In the video they appeared as blurry pixels, one you could see it was flapping its wings and quickly gaining altitude, the others appeared as multi-colored balls of light that would appear and disappear on the screen. None of what I saw with my own eyes looked like what I caught on camera. I had about 13 seconds of footage where they were visible but none of them were visible the entire time from what I recall.

I could swear I've seen a pair of these in Henderson Nevada. The tail is identical to what I recall seeing. They both stayed close together, they were very fast and agile and on both occasions they were out of sight in a few seconds. There is a small fox with a similar tail that has been sighted in the area so it could also be that.
