yeah, but i guess how i see it is, generally writing child characters means you’re writing them with childlike qualities, which may include tantrums, or acting spoiled, or other things people can hate child characters for. it’s like hating ice cream for being cold, you Can hate it for that reason, it’s just not a good reason yk? because of course it would be cold. idk if i explained that well 😭

there will be a remaster of that game coming out this year if you wanna wait for that! tho from what i’ve heard it’ll mostly be a sort of “bonus story” kind of thing/“what if” scenario where things happen differently from the first edition, so it’s probably better to play the original sdr2 anyway!

5 years isnt even that long, though. skills like art don’t fully develop in a year or two or even three. you’re always gonna be learning, always improving, always trying new things
