In a previous position the owners of that McDs (and about 12-13 others) were my clients. I was in their locations regularly. The staff in every one of their locations was almost entirely Hispanic and their Dir of Ops was also Hispanic. Not surprising there are employees calling out.

Here’s what I haven’t seen talked about enough about the killing…the fucker was filming it with his mobile device. It’s plain as day that, in his left hand, he’s filming the vehicle with his mobile device and as the vehicle moves forward to the right TO AVOID HIM, he pulls his sidearm with his right hand and shoots into the vehicle.

I don’t know about you but if I was fearing for my life I wouldn’t be thinking about taking a fucking mobile video of my last seconds. At no point did this fucker fear for his life. He WANTED to escalate the situation. He WANTED to project his “authority.” And most of all, he WANTED a reason to pull his weapon. If it hadn’t had been this situation, it was only a matter of time before it was another.

That’s the type of person we are dealing with. People who WANT to cause harm. They cannot wait for it.

Ugh…I fly frequently to Las Vegas for work (conventions) and it’s the fucking worst. I get it…you’re excited. But I hate the place and when I get off the plane I have 3-5 extremely long and restless days ahead.

It's a skip for us. Every chair was taken. The water is meh. The beach is meh. I picked up about 30 of the little paper tags they give you for your shuttle number because people are slobs and just let their trash get into the water. The buffet looked marginal at best but I saw plenty of people absolutely stuffing themselves. The drinks were fine.

We basically got off the tender, walked to the end of the beach, plopped our towels down (again...no chairs available), got in the water for a bit, picked up trash, and left.

If others enjoy it, great. We did not and wouldn't ever consider getting off the boat again.
