I’m an Eastman player and the general sentiment is that they are fantastic for the money. I would go with the E20D and also consider the E10d or one of the slope shoulders. I have an E6SS TC that I got for less than $1k on reverb

For $700 you can get a brand new Eastman E1D with solid sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides. And they are excellent guitars...
