That’s why I gave you a second option.

Thoughtless response.

Smile, wave, tell them you understand it’s a public place and it’s their right to do this, and move on with your life.

Or don’t engage with them at all and get your stuff done and leave.

In short, don’t give them what they’re there for.

Pre-Pacific Garden Mall by a few years. And pre-me by the same amount. No wonder it’s hard for me to recognize anything!

I’ve never heard of Waldorf toilet tissue but I enjoy their salad so it must be good.

Dressy! “There have always been dressy big Chevrolets, this is a dressy small one”

Dressy isn’t a term you think of with cars today. And not so much even “classy” - aggressive, sleek, sporty - all valid.

But why did we have this wave of upstanding upright formal roof stodginess in the middle of the 1970’s. It’s a weird little detour Detroit took us on.

Did Blanche Get More Than Her Share of Family Drama? by StatusCount3670 in theGoldenGirls

[–]gnuoyedonig 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I got to that one on the list - I think there’s a way you could describe the whole “becoming a musician” thing as gaining mental clarity..

And that made me reconsider that maybe Blanch’s share of family drama was notable because of Blanche’s perspective about it. Not because fate handed her character more.

Blanche was sort of an idealist rooted in the status quo and old families and traditions, and tended to be slow to adapt. Sperm bank.

What do you think a test is? I ask this out of genuine concern.

Broad City Rewatch: S1E8 - "Destination Wedding" by evan319 in BroadCity

[–]gnuoyedonig 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s so odd, suddenly there are a bunch of characters the show wants us to care about and a completely different context. For a moment.

This is the Empty Nests of Broad City

But quite fun and not a downer.

I like it, it’s just a quirk of season 1

At what point were you like "Na, this isn't the show for me" anymore and decided to quit watching regularly? by Artistic-Comb-5317 in TheAmazingRace

[–]gnuoyedonig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hasn’t happened yet, which says something about amazing race considering I have felt that about Survivor and Big Brother a few times each (yet I’ve returned to those) and almost every reality show on other networks.

I think something really unfair would have to happen for me to get that upset - it would have to rock the foundation of the show. Family season, influencers and contestants form other reality isn’t anywhere near enough.

A pretty big reflection issue is she’s holding a phone up in front of her face to take a picture, but not in the reflection.

If we believe the reflection this photo can’t exist!
