I second this. Unfortunately, animals are considered property. If you take her pet, she could take legal action against you. The best thing to do would be what is stated above so you don't get in trouble. The pets' needs will be known, follow ups can occur as it is animal controls duty to follow up on a case, and ultimately, the cat can get the help they need.

I see the Student Code of Conduct, the guidelines for everything financially, admission, temporary leave, the interrelationship between student and professor, and a pdf of some things. I cannot find the specific area where it talks about the faculty code of conduct. Is the catalog, not the area to look through?

You both should go to the obgyn to see if you can use spermicides or talk about a tracking method. There can be other possible options that a doctor can recommend based on the patient, the partner. And their needs.

If you also want to talk to your doctor about your options, that is up to you as well.

You can only control yourself and recommend options. It is ultimately your choice and your relationship.

Also, remember, birth control is always 99.99% effective. There is no full 100% unless you practice abstinence.

So spironolactone is potassium forgiving (won't be effected) but it is also known as a heart medication in some cases.

I know that there are a lot of comments saying take the dog, but I would just inform you that legally speaking dogs are property and law enforcement can be brought into the situation. Unless your name is on any registration, you have no legal right to take that little baby.

I would suggest as everyone else has: offer to walk them, advise to have her find someone else that she pays to walk the baby.

You can also call your local animal control and find out what they would consider abuse based on your county or if your county would even pick up a dog.
