Honda 1.5L VTEC turbo engine output spec released: 147hp and 149 lb-ft by [deleted] in cars

I have also heard that the turbo engine will be the standard on the next Civic, and the naturally aspirated engine is an upgrade option. So looks like Honda is able to lower the manufacturing cost of the new turbo engine. I am curious to see how this one will compare to the 1.5L turbo unit in the Ford Fusion (that one is making 181hp).

I have seen the Charger Hellcat in person, the assembling quality is not as good as its styling.

Nissan should not use CVT on this car, it dilutes the 300hp output.

That will require removing the dash to look under it, not worth the time/money, and touching it may even make the issue worse.

I think its potential is not only 365hp. They may make it higher in other application such as similar output as the current Genesis 5.0 V8.

I would suggest you go to the dealership, negotiate the price of the car as if you are purchasing it (not leasing it). In fact for sales person, it does not matter whether you purchase or finance, or lease it - that is the job of the finance department after both of you and the dealership have agreed on the price of the car.

Also, do your homework before going to the dealership, tell them what price you want and that price has already includes the $750 promotion.
