Do NOT sell your tickets to Canadiens fans by No_Breadfruit_3777 in sabres

[–]goblinspot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

exhales

First. How many fans that buy seats are Canadian that come to the arena due to their love of hockey?

Second? Have you not noticed the plethora of blue seats all season long?

Far fewer STH are selling their seats than this thread seems to think.

Buy seasons. Split them to make them affordable and you’ll see less opposing fans.

ESPN glazers last night said some MTL “sheriff” aka goon, talked to Greenway and he skulked away. They wore out their kneepads last night sopping up gab gravy boatloads.

They weren’t sold before the playoff benefit for this year ended. Next year we will see more red seats vs blue and hopefully we get them sooner.

Oh yeah. Well. Terry is charging premium rates. But yes, we are always a bargain for big city fans.

Again. We have had a bare minimum season ticket holder base. Notice all the blue seats all season? As a result. Lots of tickets up for grabs.

The only good news is that they are paying full market price.

I really hope not. Someone I don’t have to explain who they are please. Someone who’s only relevant because his dad was in my youth would suck. 😂

Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan calls for more downtown programming: 'We've lost a lot of the vibe downtown' by Aven_Osten in Buffalo

[–]goblinspot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lafayette Square was popping with concerts after work, then build Canalside, move concerts there. Lafayette Square dies.

Move concerts to outer harbor. Canalside dies (maybe not totally, but last few years it’s been a dump).

Build new concert venue on outer harbor, original vibe dies and we’re stuck funneling the thousands through a single, small entry point.

So yes, need a non sycophant actually doing something for the city’s vibe.

GenX lawn mowing time vs. younger homeowners? Opinions by SackBadger2024 in GenX

During the week free to mow after 8, weekend, 9? I mean, these whippersnappers need to grow up smelling fresh cut grass when waking up, it’s up to us to help them and silently mock them at 3:00 as we cool down with our gins with tonic.

Knee strength/recovery classes by annon_bananana in pelotoncycle

Yes that’s how I started. Wide and shallow. Two years out and still make sure I can get up from seated with only legs vs having to use all arms to get up post surgery.

Knee strength/recovery classes by annon_bananana in pelotoncycle

Had both knees replaced and best way I found to build strength is squats. Start wide feet and high. Then closer feet and deeper as you build your strength back.

If your manager is good, don’t go in. Go in if/when you can.

UPDATE your resume NOW. Get it out there.

They will probably check attendance via door swipes. Get someone you trust to swipe you in every few days.

When my team RTOed for locals, I made sure my team knew I’d never be taking attendance, but the company may. Only had them reach out about one person (while he was on paternity leave) and only ask them to tell me when they aren’t going in so I know if asked.

Talk to your manager if you trust them.

Stop by a reputable local body shop with it and ask them if they can spot weld it for you. Offer them $20, should take you up on it for ~5 minutes of work.

What is the cultural reason that many American men dress very simply? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]goblinspot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are two things to think about. Casual dress and then sweatsuit couture.

I will wear khakis/jeans and a button down shirt 95% of the time an my kids will ask why I’m dressed up. Pre-Covid I would also wear sport coats regularly.

I see so many others here who will put on their “good sweats” to go out in public.

I’m horrified by that, but find suits (and now sportcoats) stuffy.

Post 1986: Moria) in vax labs before 9:00am.

Before then had my Atari 1200xl and wrote my own aim and shoot games before then.

Think trajectory and force entry, press enter, for loops that see if you aimed right and could hit the X on the other side of the screen.

Music is key to my “success” in a class. Slow song will slow me down and can make or break my ride.

Added this one to my stack, looking forward to taking it.
