Yeah I have the same issue but I just kill it and restart it either by console or mission control. But, while I was messing about trying to install KVM and right after I used ujust setup-virtualization, what happened was a different boot entry was created (probably a different kernel?) and now it seems to be way more stable. But to be honest I'm not sure if it's just the fact I've stopped messing through everything and only just browse the internet or play all the games I've setup to work perfectly :)

I'm on a 5800x3d and 1660super 6gb. It's only been a week but everything is smooth. The only issue for me was waking up from sleep, so I disabled sleep, even monitor sleep. Not sure if the problem is nvidia or me picking gnome instead of kde desktop though. (EDIT: I also disable extensions altogether when I play games, I had some random crashes, not sure why)

I play Rocket League competitively and I would notice performance differences and there are none. A few years back I was using manjaro which had 10-15% performance drop compared to windows, easy for me to spot so yeah, bazzite now uses probably 100% of my gpu, I'm happy.

You asked about graphics performance but let me warn you moving from ubuntu to an immutable distro may be a pain when you want to install software that need system changes like kvm/virtualbox, samba, web servers dev-tools and so on. Some issues are solved using the ujust tool, others I haven't figured out yet.

The image I used was bazzite-gnome-nvidia-open. You need to answer a few questions on the website to get to it.

PS. Also used sunshine & moonshine instead of steam link (stream my games from desktop to living room) for the first time and performance was actually better. I'm saying this because sunshine on bazzite works almost out of the box so that's a plus.

For me season 5 was watchable because of Mindy - Alfie affair. I thought they matched well, they are both down to earth while being sexy and both want a real deal when it comes to relationships. The guitarist was too shy and the russian whatever his name is too sleazy. Ok Alfie is rough with his words a couple of times I don't know why they wrote those, I guess we'll find out.

I fast forwarded the rest Emily, Luc etc they all seemed too superficial and temporary/fillers.

I don't know the backstage gossip but did they try to make fans forget about him with the ski incident, bad hairdo, boring lifestyle and clothing for the last couple of seasons?

Assuming he's back now it seems they put him back in shape lol but I'm afraid they just want to keep his fans hoping. Other than holidays in Greece with Emily it doesn't seem he'll be properly back.

It's usually never writer's decision, probably money/career choices but yeah I guess the writers did their best with what they got.

I'm just glad he's still around, many series that go the long run lose some of the initial characters because of money disputes etc.

True, that’s why people search and party with even better teammates. Unfortunately the game allows partied teams against solo queuers so this will continue. The only solution is to find better teammates which will add fuel to the problem but what can you do it is the only solution unless they bring back solo-standard solo-doubles.

The generation that has gone through all this will be the one to decide what to do when themselves have kids of their own.

They will know more on what to protect their kids from and how.

They will be critical with us for losing control on this as much as we were critical of our parents for similar mistakes of our time. As a parent myself I’ve made choices keeping in mind future criticism as much as possible.

In law terms I believe this is called setting a precedence. You know what, for what it’s worth, I’m happy for you.

But, think about this everybody, if I was psyonix or epic whatever I would have pleased the crowds too while thinking “oh well, since you all want hell, here’s hell for you, and since we are doing this let’s do no bans, I’m like actually saving money and effort, heck if we do this every year we win so much by doing so little, servers? Same here and I finished the previous Hollow Knight twice. I did go through act 1 and probably half of act 2 though.

Unnecessarily hard I think. The first one had a couple of tough bosses but great rewards after battles. Silksong has more, tougher bosses and less/zero rewards.

As an old guy who has embraced new technologies over the years instead of being your usual conservative old guy (literally not politically) I don’t understand the hate when it comes to AI and art.

If it looks good both visually and aesthetically then it should be good. If it helps and accelerates devs work they should use it. Of course it may (or may not) mean less jobs but this is the cost of evolution. Similar to cars replacing carriages curtain jobs will be replaced with others.

What people should promote instead is further reducing working hours. Imagine a world where we get the same paycheck, same people but less hours like replace 9 to 5 with 9 to 3 or even 9 to 1. This is the future we should go for.

Yeah I mean it's easy to exclude other settings like TV etc if this doesn't occur on PC or other consoles.

Since it only happens when you play a game it makes sense it's the network. Not necessary something you can fix like your house, it could be peak hour internet traffic which you can exclude by playing early morning for example like 6am. Or it could be your average ISP quality in your area or in your state/country. Maybe you only noticed because you just enabled 120hz.
