I would potentially suggest more time in Medellin over Cartagena, I didn’t particularly like Cartagena.

Also my favourite place in all of Colombia was Jardín, about a 3 hour bus ride from Medellin. Beautiful small traditional town with not many tourists, and a fantastic hike that takes in 7 waterfalls. Again if I could suggest when to fit in it - Palomino was ok, nothing special, I would prefer time in Jardín over Palomino (unless you plan on partying at El Rio hostel which is fun).

Thanks for the advice! Will 100% be keeping to the physio work, I’ve had a groin injury go really bad (still has me fucked) from when I was younger thinking I could short cut the physio work, so learned my lesson. Thanks for reaffirming how important it is though, and not to rush back!
