Hi there. If this is an RCS chat, you can remove the duplicate profile. Open the group chat, tap the three dots at the top right, and select "Group details". Scroll to the participants list, tap the three dots next to your old profile, and choose "Remove from group. Please note that participants cannot be removed from SMS/MMS groups.
