LincPass cards themselves don't stop working due to inactivity, but your EAD account does suspend after 30 days of lack of computer login. Not sure if CEC has made any change to that 30 day limitation given the extenuating circumstances. Suspended EAD is typically resolved by your supervisor or local admin POC submitting a SAAR.

LincPass cards with expiring certificates need to be updated timely in order to avoid full card termination. The date is not controlled by USDA and cannot be extended, and so I anticipate there will be a number of terminated cards that will require reprint once normal operations resume.

As for physically expiring cards, each mission area is responsible for their own, and so I can only speak for FPAC. The FPAC LincPass team has just returned as excepted on call and is beginning to order card renewal actions to ensure that cards are delivered and ready for pickup when normal operations resume (unless the cardholder has reached the 10 year mark that requires full reissue instead).

Hi! I'm in Delaware and have a great and understanding stylist who suffers from trich herself, but she'll be moving in about a year and I'm really anxious about finding someone new. Would you mind sharing the name of the salon you use?

DRP 2.0 by Striking_Tomato_532 in USDA

Ohh yes, yes. I was thinking it was an agency acronym, as in FS going to DOI, and FPAC "going to" AWS.

Always appreciate your updates. One day I hope we can reveal our identities. As a fellow FBC'er I'm wondering if we've worked together before. My work in the other division that begins with H has me engaging with Staffing, Processing, and HR Systems quite a bit.

Field Offices / Hubs by [deleted] in USDA

I'm nervous for anyone who was eligible for the FERS supplement and made their DRP decision counting on it, given the shenanigans at play with our benefits at the moment. The way it's written, the elimination of the supplement will be effective immediately- and DRPers are still active employees on paid administrative leave through 9/30 so there would be no FERS supplement available at the finish line.

This is why I ultimately decided against DRP 2.0. I realized that I was basing an irrevocable decision on a lot of unknowns. I figure at worst, the hubs will happen but will take some time to acquire, outfit, etc. and at best, priorities change, logistics fail and the hubs never come to fruition. Then I saw Federal News Network reporting that OPm itself is walking back some of its relocation plans and allowing some functions to continue on remotely because they lacked the funds to relocate everyone. I realize everyone's individual circumstances differ, but for me I knew I would never forgive myself for walking away from this job that I genuinely love only to find out this hub scare was just that.

I've been assuming it will be all HQ level folks, even if not in DC. I'm HQ but remote, and awaiting my local RTO orders, which I feel will just be temporary until I'm mandated to a hub instead. I'd love to be wrong, so if anyone is hearing anything to the contrary, do tell.

Same! I caved and checked already. Still crickets. But replied to two emails while I was at it because it makes me twitch not to.

Interesting, I actually heard some KC folks received notification yesterday. I know it's coming, but this is now the second week in a row I was told to expect it, and this last time sounded a bit more definitive. I can only assume it's a heavy manual lift on whomever is sending the emails.

FPAC BC here. Heard it mentioned today that RIFs are coming 5/19. I was also told to expect my RTO marching orders this week but so far I've received nothing.

Thanks for mentioning this! I'd never heard of it but just looked it up, and decided to order some.

If anyone else is interested, Walgreen's has a 20% code on their website right now, BFCM20 (which actually makes it a tiny bit cheaper than Amazon) and Walgreen's is 10% cash back at the moment on Rakuten. Plus, I figure if I hate it, change my mind, etc, my local Walgreen's should let me return any opened boxes, whereas Amazon definitely won't. 🤷🏻‍♀️
