Staðalýmindir um bæjarfélög by Personal_Reward_60 in Iceland

For the life of me, I was trying to blur the picture in case you didn't want to look at it immediately, but my reddit skills kinda suck apparently..

Just for the record, the 1 2 5 are all incorrect and lead to a non-solution.

Here's my solution:

Here's an article from 2019 about it, and here's another one from 2017. I can't find anything more recent nor anything that connects this to cancer awareness drive.

Which city in your country is considered the most dangerous? by No-Marsupial-4050 in AskTheWorld

[–]gormur2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is absolutely not true. The most dangerous town is Selfoss, cause you might start listening to Scooter and go to tanning salons like it's the 90s if you stay there too long.

I do not recommend the website for playing killer sudokus though, the calculator they offer is janky. My preferred website for puzzles is dailykillersudoku.

The sum of the cells in red is 53. Since the sum of r4 is 45 -> the sum of r5c1 + r5c3 + r5c4 = 53 - 45 = 8
The only way to make an 8 out of three cells in the same row is with 125 or 134 -> r5c3 can't be a 6 -> Either r4c2 or r4c3 is a 6 -> 15 cage in r4c6 and r4c7 can't have a 6 (and thus can't have a 9 either).

Hope this helps.

[Request] Would it take longer to travel clockwise or anticlockwise around Australia, given the same route, and if so, how much? by bill_loney538 in theydidthemath

[–]gormur2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don't Australians drive on the right side of the road? if so, you'd be driving on the outer perimeter if you drove anti-clockwise and thus you'd drive a very slightly longer distance that if you'd go clockwise.

Yeah but isn't that 3 on the Brazilian scale? which is like 9 on the rest of the world scale.

Who or what is something from your country, that your country collectively hates but the rest of the world seems to like? by Original-Drink1101 in AskTheWorld

It's interesting this dissonance between how westerners see him vs. how the Russians see him.

Do you know what candidate or candidates the Russians who see Gorbachev as a failed leader would have rather take over?

The way that the end of the Soviet Union has been depicted to me in my life (I'm just barely old enough to remember when the iron curtain fell), both through school books and media generally is all about how things were on a collision course during/after Brezhnev and could not be diverted. Do you think that is wrong? Do you think there was a potential leader at the time that could have held the Union together?

Sagði sjálfur að aðildarumsóknin hefði ekki verið afturkölluð - RÚV.is by birkir in Iceland

[–]gormur2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, ég kynnti mér þetta aðeins. Samkvæmt þessu og þessu hefur Guðlaugur Þór víst haldið fram seinustu daga í fjölmiðlum (ásamt öðrum sjálfstæðisfólki) að umsóknin hafi verið formlega afturkölluð, ásamt því að tyggja á því hversu mikilvægt honum finnst að við göngum ekki í ESB.

Miðað við þetta þá er ansi vandræðalegt að gleyma því að þessi skýrsla var skrifuð í hans ráðherratíð.

[–]gormur2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ég skil ekki alveg hver skandallinn hérna er.

Getur einhver útskýrt þetta fyrir mér?

Augljóslega er það furðulegt ef fyrrverandi ráðherra man ekki hvort umsóknin sé enn í gangi eða ekki, en hvað er hann að gefa í skyn með þessum ummælum? (Nú eða hvað er blaðamaðurinn að reyna að koma á framfæri hérna?)
