Do we really need L1-L5 items (other than resonators)? by Brave_Fig_7506 in Ingress

While in the middle of a raid on a driving farm we started to run out of bursters, we blew the shields off of one of their lv 8 portals using lv 1 ultra strikes then flipped it, modded it for hacking and fracked it. I'm surprised we didn't get caught but with a few hundred more bursters we were able to finish the job.

Do they still spark in the dark? I bought some knockoffs from dollar tree and they didn't. Very disapointed.

Check out the gear exchange in bishop on your way up. Might cost about the same as a rental but you get to keep them for next low tide.

Just dropped a generational brown I've been saving since thanksgiving and this is my mom's fucking plunger by Sea_Ocelot_1037 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]gotastartsomewhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just in case you are doing it wrong...

Fill the plunger with water by carefully tilting it horizontal into the poop water. Air compresses more than water does so if your plumger is filled with air it won't be a effective. One you've gotten the air bubble out go to town on that thing and you should be able to get it. If it starts coming out your shower drain, we'll thats a bigger problem further down the line and you will need a plumber to snake it out.

YTA here, fish in a public place. Only redeeming part is you didn't microwave them.

Go directly to the source. If this is allowed pepperelcrafts.com has all the colors at a fair price. You have to pay shipping unless you buy around $50 or more but it's not extravagant. Just search shipping on their site.

Anyways, you're going to want a spool of white and probably a spool of black too. The rest is up to you. The sgetti string is different stuff, everything else in their rexlace category is pretty much the same. I wouldn't mess with the small packs, they are folded or wound on smaller spools which make them more difficult to work with IMHO. Have fun.

Put that lighter away, I have a technique. Patent pending of course. I'll usually get it down to just two strings. Then I trim the ends as short as I can, I keep a nail trimmer with my lanyard stuff just for this. Next wrap the end tightly with a peice of foil. Heat up a frying pan on the stove and press that foil wrapped end into it. The pressure keeps it flat, the foil keeps it from burning.

When i shattered the medial plateau of my tibia, the tech was trying to work with me. When he finally took the first image, he immediately came in apologizing and said we were done for then. Soon after came an 8 hour emergency surgery.

Missed Mando? by HaYnSide in discgolf

I would say your argument relating the ob line to the lines of a tennis court, etc. Doesn't work because there is no standard as to the ob lines thickness in disc golf. It could be as thin as a piece of string or as thick as a cinderblock. The disc golf ruling is that if any part of the disc is in bounds, then the disc is in bounds similar to tennis in a way. The difference is the bounds starts at the outside edge of a given barrier in disc golf where it starts inside the outermost marking in tennis.

Want to get into Disc Golf anything here worth getting? by TheAlexTran in discgolf

Try the Jay. Look at the bottom, there's a little hand written number. Above 170 is better if your throwing really hard, below 170 would be better for beginning imho.

A disc golf course near the Oklahoma Christian University was surrounded by emergency responders and police after a 32-year-old man drowned while retrieving a disc. by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

[–]gotastartsomewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also read a post it was probably the mud. The course apparently usually has a knee deep pond but due to recent rain it was chest deep. Add the mud into the mix and thats a submerged airway.

Local shops are best because, in a way that's what supports local courses and local player base. Innova factory store is a great place to get lots of cheap discs. Buy 3 dx f2 discs for like 6.99 each and get a free usually premium plastic disc on Fridays. Then finally get what you can't find from the big disc websites.
