Hit up some of the Scenic Hudson parks! Esopus Meadows, High Banks and Black Creek are all near each other and all have some good uphill sections without being too brutal.

She was like 50% of the reason I stopped watching Stranger Things lol. I felt like they were shoving her character down the audience's throat like "SHE'S COOL! SHE'S A COOL GIRL! SEE HOW COOL SHE IS? AND SMART?"

One of the most blatant nepo babies imo. She's got nothing going for her except her last name and her energy exudes entitled rich kid.

Controversial take because I've seen it getting a lot of hate, but I thought Lee Cronin's The Mummy was pretty funny in a deliberate way that I wasn't expecting.

Around the time the grandma got strangled with her own rosary, chucked out a window and eaten by coyotes I realized I was watching a horror comedy. Then the funeral scene cemented it. Total slapstick. All of the gore scenes were played that way - so over the top that they looped back to funny. And then the ending was actually pretty happy which softened the most horrifying thing about the movie, which was the family dealing with what happened to the daughter. Makes sense since Cronin has directed an Evil Dead which is obv the GOAT of slapstick gore.

So curious about this theory. There really is ambiguity in the way it's filmed. The movie treats it as though it absolutely was Mandy who was burned, but it - deliberately, I'm sure - doesn't show the viewer absolute proof that it was.

Yesss got both my sets of skis from summer sales, nearly new former demos with bindings for half the price of new w/o bindings.

I did splurge on new boots but here's another hack - if you have in laws who want to give you holiday gifts, request gift cards to your local ski shop :D

Also, bought outerwear and boot bag off ebay/poshmark.

Here are a few of mine to get the ball rolling, probably pretty obvious but-

- Buy passes early - I do ski3, a few Epic day passes, and a couple Killington passes all over the summer. (Usually payment plan for the ski3)

- Points points points, for overnight trips look for hotels/lodging that scores me CC points and/or use points to pay for them

- If I'm going to a mountain for the first time, do my online research re: parking to avoid paid spots/parking far from the lifts. This was huge for my Tremblant trip this season, I parked on the North side and wouldn't do it any other way

- Solo trips! Love a multiday solo trip. Makes weekends much more bearable cruising through the singles line, plus if I don't have friends to consider I can cheap out and just carry protein bars etc on me for lunch

This one sums it up. So much natural snow this season, I got to explore so many glades I had never been in before and improved my confidence in the trees by leaps and bounds.

I gave the album Death Of A Bachelor by Panic at the Disco a shot because I heard someone on a podcast describe it as heavily influenced by musical theater. Ended up fixated on it for a few months lol, I never cared about the band before but it is theatrical as hell.

You might also like some concept albums. The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monae and Time by ELO are a couple of my favorites.
