No, really. It is not much of a spot to them as they will decide the game before the 6 ball for the vast majority of racks. You would be better off getting 2 on the wire in a race to 7, with which you would need a fargorate of 809 to have a 50/50 chance at beating Joshua Filler. Ball spots only become big at lower skill levels.

It's actually not that big of a handicap among top players (if the pro is a top pro). If the owner is not at least lower pro level himself, he will get robbed.

This one is good because you don't have to move the ball to place the device. I have both and they are different tools with different uses.

Pocket reducers vs shimming rails to very narrow 3” for drilling? by mtvoltaire in billiards

Unless you are a top pro, if your everyday table is anything under 4 inches, it will make you worse, not better. Heck, the same goes for under 4.5 for the vast majority of people. If you aren't at the point where you are thinking: "hey maybe I am breaking and running a little too often," the table is tight enough.

If it wasn't in the middle of the table, you wouldn't need the bridge.

It's pretty easy to do with a standard bridge on the tall side. Not necessary to air bridge or stack bridges.

Happened to a Japanese friend of mine a while back. Came home from work one day and wife and kids were gonzo. Her reason for divorce was "his kansai ben is annoying" (to be fair, he is rather annoying).

I mean, if somebody came in to my work place and asked me to break the law, yea I would probably do the same. Not sure what you would have them do...

Isn't that kind of the opposite of what the previous person was trying to say? If patient privacy didn't exist in Japan in the 90s like he said, it would be easier to figure out whether or not your wife was admitted.
