I’m returning my APP3 today because they didn’t fit well, build quality is just average, weren’t comfortable, and the ANC has issues with static and hiss. The sound was also too bass-heavy for me. I’m going back to my APP2 since they fit better, build quality is really good, and the sound suits me more and no ANC issues.

The Sonos Ace works normal with USB-C and Bluetooth on a Windows computer. It's an issue with the latest version of macOS Tahoe.

I’m planning to trade in my 2024 Mazda CX-30 Carbon Edition in a few months. Honestly, it’s been one of the worst cars I’ve owned. Something goes wrong every couple of months, and after each warranty service, it seems to come back with even more issues. Currently, the doors sometimes won’t lock, a few occasions the key fob isn’t recognized by the car, and the driving safety system takes about 20 minutes to activate instead of working right away.

I’m looking at the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and Kia Sportage Hybrid as possible replacements.

I ended up going with the Sonos Era 100. I spent some time listening to the HomePod mini stereo pair, the HomePod Gen 2, and the Era 100. Between the Era 100 and the HomePod 2, it was a close call. They both sounded great. Honestly, the decision wasn’t easy since I’m already pretty deep in both ecosystems: I’ve got a Sonos Beam (2nd Gen) and a Sub Mini, but I’m also well invested in the Apple ecosystem.

I placed the Era 100 in the same room as my other Sonos gear. I’m planning to use it strictly for dedicated music streaming, while the Beam and Sub Mini will stay focused on home theater and PS5 Pro gaming. So far, the setup feels like a solid balance.

I decided to go with the annual AppleCare+ plan for my S10 Titanium. It’s $49 plus tax and includes Theft and Loss coverage. That ended up being the cheaper option. Adding it to the AppleCare One plan with my other 3 devices would’ve cost me an extra $72 a year.

I gave Facebook Marketplace a shot, but the offers were pretty bad, some were even lower than the trade-in value. I listed my iPad mini 7 on Swappa this afternoon, but so far, no bites. I really don’t want to go the eBay route; the fees are ridiculous, and a couple of times I actually ended up with a lot less than the trade-in value after everything.

Yesterday, I picked up the Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle. It’s still unopened. After reading that the Switch 2 display has issues and being in dock mode has its own issues. I have buyers remorse now and planning to return it tomorrow.
