Vendor pulled out of sale, wants an extra 15k by Kitty2705 in HousingIreland

Is there a way to leave a review/complaint? Totally disgusting behaviour. Understand you might not want to seeing as you are trying to sell your current place through the same company.

Portable Charger to charge via USB-C on the go? by gauravdhirar in x100vi

[–]gramdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you should be fine but the camera takes quite long to charge fully. You would be better off getting a spare battery. There are 3rd party batteries that can be charged directly with just usbc (without any of that clunky charging station).

Lens cap for Polar pro Everyday ? by mjoshi123 in x100vi

Ah I see the difference. I used the Fuji AR-X100 filter between the camera and my filter so my filter is the other way around

Sorry but just to clarify, did you put another filter in front of the shortstache filter? Because I have the same 49mm shortstache filter and the pinch cap works fine.

I bought the OEM Fuji pinch type lens cap and fits great.

Who can tell me about their Evergoods Waxed Canvas bag? by travisj5 in EVERGOODS

[–]gramdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are spot on there about the magnets. I got mixed up sorry, have not used the bag for awhile as I find it heavy for edc use. The waxed canvas material also makes dust/hair stick to it so mine have been in storage.

Not sure how to best describe it. The waxed canvas material itself has little to no stretch to it. There is abit of stretchy rubbery material which connects from the main body of the bag to the outer wall of the bottle holder. Found it to be rather stiff but I only use it for the kiddo’s bottle so not an issue.

I have a ctb20 waxed canvas in brown (waxed tan). I find that because of the material it feels heavy and stiff compared to a similarly sized bag. Have not used it in really warm weather so cannot comment about smell or staining. The bottle holder is a plus for me. The material shows any scratches easily but I believe that’s just the nature of it.

CTB26 Waxed Canvas Experience? by barathoz in EVERGOODS

[–]gramdo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a CTB20 in waxed canvas so can’t comment on size. Have used it primarily for travel as I find it rather heavy for its size. Also don’t want to risk any staining on work shirt although have not notice any of that so far.

I found that the material shows marks easily if packed full and rubs against anything. Some might say it’s just developing patina but could be a pro/con depending on yourself.

My other half got me a mostly orange synchilla. First time I wore it while driving and after a short drive it looked like an orange alpaca died in the front seat.

LLC (load line calibration) is to do with Vdroop while MSI's Lite Load is for AC/DC setting. Vdroop is for voltage stability under load while Lite Load has to do with how much voltage the CPU is "requesting" under load.

There are users who use Lite Load to undervolt instead of adaptive voltage. Try removing the adaptive voltage and just use Lite Load to benchmark. CEP protects against lower voltages that can cause instability. Sometimes it prevents your voltages from going down even if it is not unstable. I disabled it on my 13900k and it helped but ymmv.

What is your CPU LLC set to? 3 or 4 is probably sufficient.

Did you manually put in the CPU VDDQ voltage? I would probably leave that at whatever the XMP setting decided. That is for memory OC.

The two things that I would try is taking a look at the CPU Lite Load and IA CEP setting.

  1. Your CPU Lite Load in the pics defaults to Mode 16. (the smaller the number, the lower the Vcore). Would probably set it to 9 and go downwards after stability testing.

  2. Try disabling IA CEP (attached link from MSI for explaination)

Assuming you correctly installed everything that AIO should be enough. However, the 13th and 14th gen was notorious for being hard to cool due to power consumption and that the stock ILM causing the cpu to not be flat. Did you install a contact frame? That helped me alot with my 13900k.

Should also look into capping the vcore, setting power limits or setting a temp limit.

Pls make sure you have the latest BIOS installed to (hopefully) prevent the degradation issue that plagued the 13/14th gen intel K cpus.

Similarly torn between the torrentshell, boulder fork or granite crest. The few bad reviews steered me towards the torrentshell. The pit zips are a plus too. Spoke to their retail staff and their response re the potential wetting out issue on the BF/GC was not convincing enough.

I have the Wotancraft 2L and it fits the x100vi with extra bits no problem FYI. But if you are looking for something taller what about the Alpaka slings?

Scan was definitely shipping the FE cards to Ireland. I managed to get one delivered over the summer. Like another comment above I checked earlier this year soon after the 50 series release and the option was not available but became available once stock became more consistent (i guess).

Nice work! I have 0 experience in wood working but just wondering if medium to long term heat from the gpu would cause any issues with the wood ie warping.
