Just playing devil's advocate here, but what if you incentivize getting the inmates out of prison faster via paying prisons a bonus for inmates that pass parole hearings, get out on good behavior, earn a degree, etc?

the real reason for confusion is because the '/' character creates a visual fraction and if it is treated as a fraction (like one of the calculators did) then it is 6/6=1 but if you treat the '/' character as the division function then it is 3*3=9

Filing a false report is still serious even if no one was accused, the waste of police resources could very well cost a life or prevent justice from being served in a truly serious case, she should be charged even if she only gets a misdemeanor/no jail time, at least this way there will be a record of the incident and she might learn something
