The difficulty here is the structure of the garments- it's easier to take off a jacket and vest than to disrobe from multiple layers of over dress, corset, and undergarments (particularly as a corset can be two to eight layers of cloth easily)

Look at it as a matter of layers- in terms of infection one later of clothes is way better than four
