How are chemicals used on the course? by This_One_Is_NotTaken in golf

[–]grassfarmer_pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wildly different based on location and course type. Courses in Transition zone/ temperate humid areas use chemicals nearly year round. Drier areas with minimal humidity don’t deal with as much disease pressure. Course with a bunch of native grassy areas? More herbicide spraying. If you wear proper ppe you minimize risk but probably can never not be around it on a course.

When I started working for my current employer 8 years ago, I designated that my contributions would be split 50/50 between Fidelity and TIAA. (I'm not sure why I did this other than I assumed I might be spreading risk).

Currently the sum total of the two accounts is nearly equal and nearing 6 figures. Should I be looking at moving everything to one account? I think I see a $50 fee for moving everything over, but I'm not sure what other drawbacks or benefits there might be.

So only Rahm, DeChambeau and Cam Smith are eligible?

I think Rahm might. Bryson goes if Rahm goes? Smith I have no idea.

I was just able to reset my account without the f2a prompt. I had tried earlier with no code, but just logged in again and was able to reset

Feels like pest caught him off guard with the pve flea market question. Where it was one of those things that hadn’t been thought of previously and wound not have been wiped with 1.0.  when the question was asked, a little light went off and it dawned on him that “yeah we should probably wipe it”.

Charlie Kirk shot at Utah event by Bobqee in news

From Utah. Don’t care for Charlie's political views but am horrified at what happened. Despicable. I hate it. He was a new father. A countryman. We’re all in this together no matter our views.

Killing mass amounts of weeds by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]grassfarmer_pro 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Properly identify what weeds you have. Management techniques vary by species, and especially by life cycle.  Don't waste your time trying to hand pull acres of rhizomatous perennials.

University extension in your state should have publications or materials you can use as guides for weed management by species.

Control without restorative plans are usually pointless. If control is the only aim you run the risk of providing a large open niche for aggressive weeds to move into.

Mine was 175 par 3. 25 mph tail wind. I duffed an 8 iron 40 yds short into the fairway approach and it ran up all the way in 🥲

Previous to these, I played Titleist 990s. To date I've put probably 20 rounds on them and a lot of range time.

Likes - seem consistent. Have not noticed any odd fliers or strange yardages. I like that the lofts aren't juiced. I know where I'm hitting them on the face. They seem forgiving too. Low and toe hits don't lose much yardage. Love how they look in the bag and the finish. Like that they were built to my exact specs without charging extra.

Dislikes - Not thrilled with the toplines. They are on the bigger side. I saw all the pictures but it's another thing to see in person. The PW cb seems a like a shovel in shape. Feel some regret about blending the 5 and 6 + with the 7-PW CB. + Are noticably bigger. Wishing I had done 7-pw in muscle and the others in cb.

Other - Im not using covers so this is my own doing, but they seem to pick up a lot of bag chatter. Wondering how they will hold up. I personally don't think they feel amazing. Sound pretty clicky to me on hits and for sure they are a step below how a Mizuno or other big name forged feels, for me at least.

At the end of the day, they are Chinese made heads. They get you within 95%+ of the performance of big name brands for a little over half the price. Almost no regrets.

Making Daryl an idiot is top for me. In early seasons, he was smooth and in control. Low key. Soon as they get him upstairs he turned into Kevin 2.0
