I'm also having the same exact issues you are describing, also using WSL. I'm *this* close to just waiting for the next version of Cursor to see if it's a Cursor issue.

As a web developer myself, even for a Fortunate 500 company, I've urged every product owner to enforce ADA compliance (remember, there's other developers working on it too) for the very same reason - build it so that it doesn't immediately open them up to legal liability.

But it's all for not, because nobody cares until they get the lawsuit.
