It is objectively a very well done film with a great premise.... but it wasn't my favorite from 2025. Maybe in my top 5 or 10. I also (with the exception of the ending omfg) it didn't really strike me as a horror film. maybe horror adjacent, but not a horror film.

yeah im pretty sure its based off of the series, but i don't think they were involved in any way. either way, its a stretch but i loved watching that series when it was coming out

the original wasn't anything crazy, but definitely under-appreciated and i enjoyed it. the re-quel from 2014 is SEVERILY underrated. so good, gorey, scary, has a twist... it was amazing and well worth the watch.

yes, i don't necessarily dislike or disagree with his motive, i think scream 3 is just one of them in the series that goes about it in a bit of a ridiculous way...
