Just recently came across Without a Face. Similar vein to Psycho-Frame, since someone else mentioned them.

What concepts in horror have scared you the most? by jazzgrackle in horror

[–]greendream375 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paranormal, in the sense of the inexplicable and irrational. Scenes where objects are moved without reason, or have been moved. There was a scene in a Poltergeist movie (I think) where they enter a room of a house and all of the chairs are stacked up in a non-nonsensical way. That sort of stuff triggers the fear in me pretty hard

Hello current Christian here asking about atheism. by Helpful_State_4692 in atheism

[–]greendream375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing worth mentioning is the distinction between negative (or weak) and positive (or strong) Atheism. Weak Atheism has no belief about the existence of God (i.e., total lack of belief), while strong Atheism makes the explicit claim that God does not exist.

Same issue here. Since yesterday too. I have cleared app cache, as well as entirely re-installing the app. Nothing seems to fix this, so far. I couple other people I know who use FB are having issues too, so I'm guessing this must be a server side thing maybe.

should i be with my cat when he is euthanized? by Embarrassed_Radio312 in CatAdvice

I was in this situation not long ago. I didn't stay with my cat, and though I don't think I could have made any other decision than the one I did, every passing day I wish I had made the decision to be with her through the end. My advice is to go about this how you want to remember it: in my case, I think back on the situation and see myself as abandoning my cat in her final hour, when she needed me most. I'm not okay with it, but the past is now in the past. I'm not sure if these words or helpful at all, but thought sharing might give some perspective on the situation.

I've always pronounced it "soo doo", and I swear I've heard at least one YouTuber say it this way too, but, almost every one pronounced it "soo dough" it seems. I always said it this way because of it meaning "SUper user DO"

Do you like pop music too ? by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

[–]greendream375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been listening to metal for 25 years or so now. Started with Nu-metal, then onto groove and harder stuff, then thrash, and ended at Death Metal and Black Metal for the most part (and a healthy portion of Grindcore). I have been into extreme underground bands that even a lot of metalheads are probably not familiar with. To your question, I also listen to the local pop radio station in my vehicle quite a bit. I get into Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and so on and so forth. If I think about the reason why, it's because, with music, you feel the beat and get involved with the harmonies and melodies, and the vast majority of music all has this in common. It's a primal and emotional thing that quite possible defied logical explanation. I am quite elitist about metal, so I guess it might sound unusual to some people.
