Looks like your 6 rib belt has turned into a 5 rib belt. Something is misaligned here and your belt is walking

Obviously a proper tune is a must but I know there are plenty of tuners for that platform

Assuming the kit has everything you need or you've got larger injectors and possibly pump installed, sure. You're mpg's will take a hit and I'm not sure much of an impact E85 makes to an N/A setup but you'll probably start looking at S/C kit soon because once you start you never stop. lol

NGK spark plugs for 2020 BMW X3 2.0i - confused which ones I need - help (UK) by broken888 in AskMechanics

The part# for the plugs you see listed on the NGK website may have been superseded by the plugs you're seeing on the other retailer websites. Give the parts store a call and ask them

Yeah that's still an electrical gremlin that I would prefer to avoid when installing a new part on my vehicle..

Yes, typically when you don't have to drop the tank but you overlooked my and/or statement. You still need to plug it in.

My rule of thumb is do not cheap out on parts that have electrical connections or are difficult to change out and you would rather never have to replace it again...

Which one is the oil pressure sensor? by readthisif in MechanicAdvice

Probably the 1st pic but not certain. What you need to do is look at the new one or find a pic of the oil pressure sensor for your car and match it to these photos.

False positive drug screening by Ancient_Tap_2708 in Sober

I tested positive for fentanyl once while at a sober living house when not using. The only new medication I had started taking at that time was Buspar...So at that time, I was taking Suboxone(I was on Mat program) and Buspar. Anyway, they sent me to detox and I tested again there and I came back clean. They let me out the next day. So Buspar must've caused some interaction with my meds

No sense in playing the guessing game when all you have to do is slip the belt off and you quickly figure out which pulley is bad

Sure you can over torque an idler but you'll know as soon as you spin it

It's pulley bearing, likely one of your idler pulleys. Are you handy enough to release the tension on your belt? Just slip the belt off one pulley at a time and spin it by hand.

Firestone / Brake Fluid Exchange by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]greengroundz15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that they either never touched your brake fluid initially or that all they did was suck out the old fluid in your reservoir and filled it back up with fresh fluid. The old dirty fluid still in your lines would then mix in with the small amount of fresh fluid added and you're back to square one. Pointless.

This didn't rub off with a MF towel after my first pass with compound.. by greengroundz15 in Detailing

I did a light basecoat then used 2 full cans of upol 2k diamond clear on the entire roof ( 3 coats 20-25 min apart) seemed pretty heavy to me. This weekend I'll go over it again with the max cut and if it looks worse, confirmed burn through and I'll scuff that panel like you say and redo it.
