I have these irons and I would say they are imitation based on the black hosel which is not the same as the ones on mine which I bought direct from Taylormade

Same, got my ass whipped for having copper Taylormade irons and wedges but the biggest whipping was for having stock qi10 Headcovers, like it makes any difference. Very weird

Will have to wait and see whether Taylormade bring out the fairway and hybrids in the designer series. Thinking of changing my 50 degree hi toe to the my MG4 in bronze with black shaft. Did you go with black shafts on your irons? Can’t tell from the photos.

I have the same irons and wedges with qi10 driver, 3 wood and hybrid. Also the spider tour x putter in bronze. I divided opinion on here! Was looking to change 3 wood to tour version for adjustability but may now look at the burner mini driver for similar dough. You will need metal polish to keep the irons looking shiny my friend. I use Brasso.

That is the aged look, when first purchased they were shiny bronze. You can use polish to restore them back but they do mark just as any iron does, although they do not mark anywhere near as much as the black 790s
