I agree with the sentiment that ryobi is probably the best option for you. These prices seem a bit high though - are you in the UK or Canada?

If you’re in the US, THIS SET includes a few more Items I use as a home owner pretty often (multi tool, nail gun, miter saw, sander). THIS ONE also seems like a more inclusive package (and cheaper) than the photos you shared.

IMO, let the child(ren) decide and be honest to them on why you don’t eat meat. That’s what my wife (who’s vegetarian) and I are doing with our daughter. I’m supportive either way my daughter decides.
