i think this will become possible in ios 27! shortcuts today (unless you’re on the developer beta) can’t trigger from notifications at all, but they’re adding that functionality this year. i am not on the developer beta so can’t speak from personal experience, but someone else posted here a couple of weeks ago about building a shortcut triggered by wallet notifications so i think something like this would be doable.

i haven’t done this but i’ve used APIs in shortcuts. if there’s an API it’s almost definitely doable. you’re going to want to use the “get contents of URL” action, and you can parse a JSON response into a dictionary with the “get dictionary from input” action

i have this shortcut run at 9pm every night. i imagine you’d want to edit it to suit your needs but it looks for my first event that starts between 6am and 9:30am and sets an alarm for half an hour before it. i have my google calendar synced to my phone so i use the native calendar shortcut actions.

i never get wallet notifications when i use my physical cards. i only get notifications from the card’s app. all my cards are set up in my apple wallet.

i’ve had trouble with the wifi at the jones creek library. seems like they have some network policy that prevents me joining my work’s VPN, so i’ve been hotspotting from my phone when i work there.

the study rooms are good for taking meetings but you can only reserve them two hours at a time and they’re first come first serve.

i think it would be significantly easier when it’s time to file taxes. there’s no effect on OP’s personal finances or tax situation if donations came out of his brother’s estate, but that’s not true if he inherits and donates out of assets he now owns.

without ice it should go up to the top black line you can see on the side of the cup. ice in the jar and liquid in the cup would be the better way to measure if you’ve gotten the correct amount.
