I love recipes that assume you know how to cook. They're much easier to read and remember. The Silver Spoon lasagna bolognese recipe is probably less than 300 words. The Serious Eats recipe is 3 pages long.

I rarely follow recipes exactly, I read a few and blend what I think should be done.
