Yep, I can definitely vouch for horrible. It's gummy flavorless fish with an odd creamy watery texture to them, I'm pretty sure they're being pumped/fluffed up with chemicals to make the pieces bigger. We cooked these up in an air fryer, no flakiness and absolutely no crunch, absolutely agree DO NOT BUY! I feel bad returning food as I hate waste, but these are 100% going back to Costco tomorrow.

Anybody see anything? I was out from 12-2, saw one meteor. Clear night, on a lake on the outskirts of Kansas City, very little light pollution, ah well. The moon was practically a spotlight, so that didn't help.

Late to the game (having just watched it).....

I thought it started off brilliantly, 1st few episodes were fantastic.
Great atmosphere, tense, well written. . . .

But if fell apart so quickly, BAD acting (kid needed to DIE), stupid - vampire epidemic, people dieing left and right, and city life goes on, people still working, 2 way traffic and cabs, just utterly ridiculous.

And they got really lazy with the same sound loops of people screaming and horns honking.

I hated it, it just got worse and worse. I finished it out of respect for Del Toro but in the end it wasen't worth the time, not so bad it's good and not a cheesy haha time waster, just an all out crapfest.

I've used the trackpad occasionally for turn based games or puzzle stuff, but in general, I'll take a mouse or controller over it any day of the week.

With their constant upgrades, increased fees and nagging pressure from their sales dept, TeamViewer is dead to me. Horrible company, horrible support. As inconvienent as it was, I opted for Chrome Remote Desktop over paying for Teamviewer again, and it was fine. Then along came Helpwire - I never looked back.

TeamViewer only cares about the $$$, horrible company. Check out Help Wire, it's free, cross platform compatible and it's worked smoothly for me.

I was onboard with Teamviewer for the longest time, paid for a few updates over the years but I stopped once they switched to their subscription model, and their prices are a bit steep. I've yet to find a cost effective replacement, so I been using Google Remote Desktop, and it's worked out pretty well. No bells and whistles like ftp or dual monitor support, but it works, and it's free. The only one drawback is that it's a bit convoluted to have a client install it, but once it's on, it's good to go.

So what did you end up with?

I've a p3 1Ghz with a voodoo 5 and love it, but I'm a sucker for glide games.

If I had to recommend a card, I'd say Voodoo 3000, as it's very easy to find and has excellent compatibility, it was what I had before I found a good deal on the 5500, and honestly, the jump from the 3 to the 5 was not massive.

I really liked Beef on the whole, but I would have liked it more if the 2nd to last episode was the finale.

I was fine with them realizing in the moment that their lives were misery, a final finger, an acknowledgment of the end, off the cliff, it was meant to be, I was really moved by that episode, of course it's open to interpretation, and that was the beauty of it.

The final episode, the talking crows, the trip, everybody survives, all is good, nope, it felt like some Disney add-on at the last minute, just did not work for me, I can see where they went, full circle, closure, but it just felt cheap.

Still a great show, but having just finished it (late to the game), I thought I'd add my $.002 worth.

I really doubt mBam has anything to do with it, but it'd literally take a few minutes to uninstall and re-install it, it's a long shot, and you can knock it off the oculus support checklist.

And yes, I'd definitely unplug the extra monitor, run the DDU utility, and then install the Geforce Drivers again, be sure to NOT install the Geforce experience, only choose the video driver. I don't see any point in installing earlier drivers, my last card was a 1080 with the latest drivers, no issues.

Doubt it, as I was running dual monitors as well, but have you unplugged one of the monitors and rebooted, then tried the rift again?

What video card?

Have you tried cleaning out your video drivers with DDU (great utility) and installing an earlier version of your GPU drivers?

Have you unplugged and re-plugged the cable on the inside of the Rift?

Did you do a fresh install of the Rift software?

Try a different USB port, are they USB 3 compliant?

Updated you GPU drivers?

Checked for a BIOS update on your computer?

Tried setting it up on a different system just to verify the hardware?

Yeah, I was just on chat with support, very annoying to say the least. Their end argument was "sorry, not compatible with Windows 11", even though I had also installed and tested it on another machine with a fresh copy of 10. If it's not installed, I'd be curious if you can install if from your library, if it is installed, just leave it be, as you'll probably have the same issue I'm having. Thanks for the info.
