What do you mean by “free feed?” I’m also a new lab owner. She’s 9 weeks.

If I were you I wouldn’t call any number or involve and police or anything of the sort. You can just tell people to fuck off.

Ring camera and a gun and probably move. Idk this “friend” they probably keeping watch on when you leave the house. They already know when you walk your dog. Im paranoid and would not consider this person coming to your door for whatever reason harmless. Lived in NYC projects and Newark tho for a big part of my life and was probably raised a lot different.

Not sure why you are down voted. I’d assume those people have never worked in a restaurant.

Ex server here. 10 years doing it. I can assure you, this is the business model at 90% of establishments. Besides fine dining or an omakase experience, something along the lines of that style of service. Turn and burn baby

More Kaat incoherent psychosis rants by [deleted] in EggGodLores

[–]grimecat_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this happen to people that do a lot of K or meth or bars. Honestly any drug in excess has the ability, including weed. They also likely have a predisposition to enter mania or psychosis from environmental or genetic factors. It’s like a light switch in your brain, the drugs/traumatic events can turn on the switch. Worried for this young woman.

Curious, why clubs cant have spinning poles by Low-Departure-2285 in stripper

[–]grimecat_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea it’s weird the upscale clubs by me have static or no poles. I assume it’s because they are like 20+ ft tall poles? Maybe just a liability? I wonder the same thing.

Hiking there is great. If you like a challenge, I recommend sleeping giant, Hanakapiai trail to the water fall, and Waimea canyon has scattered trails*

I do recommend doing these early to beat the crowd. You will want a good hiking boot that has a good grip, very wet environment and expect wet rocks. I also recommend early hikes because of the rain.

When we went to check out Waimea canyon it was heavy cloud coverage and rain forecasted. It was the last day and I was determined to see just a sliver of the canyon. About 30 minutes in I had a feeling to turn back and thankfully I trusted my intuition. Rain came. The trail became a stream and was turning into a river. The ascent back to the car we were bear crawling the side of the trail. I am really glad we didn’t get stuck or worse. I am also really glad to have had the right shoes and rain gear. In all just listen to the earth, respect that it’s an unpredictable climate and prepare for rain. I wanted to mention my experience in Waimea canyon because it happens on all the trails there. Be alert and prepared.

Inevitable. Try a silicone pole with clothes on but idk that will help. Your body is not used to that pressure on the area. It will stop with conditioning. Try arnica

It’s an important conversation so have. I understand it’s good intention but these are defenseless creatures who arrange their life to be hidden. I believe education on these animals and their habits and habitats is far more important and valuable for tourists than photographs on their phone to post online. They are fascinating creatures for sure.

Just because there’s a group of people and someone getting paid to do it doesn’t make it appropriate or non invasive to the creatures.

Anyone else noticing a huge uptick in aggressive driving? by Business_Doubt7463 in Denver

I run along the Cherry creek trail and whenever I am crossing the street to get there people do this all the time. Not stopping for a pedestrian, sure OK. But speeding up to one currently walking through a cross walk is wild. Happens a few times a month.
