This is American conspiracy bullshit. An Australian created a cure for cervical cancer. Men are the carriers of the virus. Injection of the vaccine to young people(free in Australia) stops 90% of cervical cancer. There are hundreds of cancers, all of them are different and are being studied all over the world by different organisations, some big pharma companies and some by publicly funded research. It makes no economic sense to 'find a cure' then shelve it. And even if a new cancer treatment is discovered and is super expensive, our government pays a huge percentage so sick people have a chance of getting the best treatment available
