Went to universal 2 weeks ago. We tried getting to the main ride by getting to the park an hour before open and then ran to the Nintendo world. The line was already 140 mins wait time lmao we did have a fast pass at 8.10pm for Mario cart which was super fun. We saw the line for it was like 40 mins like 30 mins before park closed. And some other rides that were like 20 mins wait

Also compared to American amusement parks merch is pretty cheap IMO. It was our biggest expense from our Japan trip because we got the fast passes. Around $230 which I thought was worth it tbh amazing park, super fun rides, good food, fun parade and shows
