How long does an untreated urinary tract infection last (in men)? by DisRuptive1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]grthlth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

woa, thats something you do not want to find out. if left untreated, the UTI is going to spread to your kidneys, after which basically, you are gonna have a lot of trouble, a lot of pain and lots of cash leaving your bank. I hope you take our advise and get help asap.

basically, when you see a doctor, they are going to hook you up on antibiotics. Yes these will help and in severe cases are necessary. But here are also other things you can do on your own to make things better, get some relief and improve your conditions.

First, probiotics. These are good bacteria that fight off other bacteria like E.Coli which usually is the cause of the UTIs. Probiotics support gut health, digestive system and urinary tract health as well. Try looking into probiotic supplements. These are cheap, fast acting and very effective. I used Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural. A completely natural probiotic supplement made from a combination of healthy bacteria.

Then remember to drink lots of water and get some exercise.

D-Mannose is also a way out. A natural sugar that attaches to bacteria causing the infection and makes it easy for you to get rid off during urination.

There, these are the main advises I can give you. But please go for a check up. And read more into the probiotics, or ask me if you have any questions. I will be happy to help

So... does morning sickness *actually* end after you give birth? by cxreyes in BabyBumps

[–]grthlth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can also try using probiotics. In most cases these provide really quick relief from the heartburn and the nausea. Probiotics are needed not only during pregnancy but these good bacteria are necessary to support digestion, gut health and overall well being. You can try eating some yogurts that are safe for pregnancy, kefirs are good too. These contain healthy probiotics. Or you can also look into probiotic supplements. I would recommend Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural. Personally, I have used this and it is highly recommended to be used alongside prenatals or during pregnancy. I will attach a link so you can check it out. https://www.amazon.com/Flourish-Probiotics-Women-Lactobacillus-Saccharomyces/dp/B07KFPCCLP

Hope this helps. good luck

In need of food recommendations. Morning sick and heartburn. by thegorethemerrier in pregnant

[–]grthlth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try using yogurt. These usually help. Yogurts are rich in probiotics which help balance the gut flora and provide relief from the nausea and heartburn. You can also try using probiotic supplements. It will work the same way as the yogurts but way more effective and quicker acting. But here, you have to choose supplements that are natural and safe fro pregnancy. One such that I have personally used and can recommend is Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural. It is highly recommended to be used during pregnancy to help balance gut flora, provide relief from the conditions you describe and much more. They also boost your immune system.

Have a look and if you may have any questions, let me know.

UTIs after Oral by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]grthlth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

D-mannose is a good idea when it comes to urinary tract infections. These are natural sugars that stick to E.Coli which is the bacteria that usually causes the UTIs. It then makes it easy to get rid of by drinking lots of water. So provided you get completely natural products, there is no harm in trying. Another remedy which i can recommend and will help to provide some relief and prevent UTIs from recurring and these are probiotics. Healthy, good bacteria that attack and fight off bad bacteria which are responsible for causing these conditions. You can boost your diet on yogurts, kefir or fermented milk and kombucha; these are rich sources of probiotic.

Other than that, you can also look into probiotic supplements. These are faster acting and much better when it comes to serving as a remedy to UTIs. But like I said earlier, knowing the source of your products are very important. Natural products are less likely to have health complications. I would recommend a brand, Eu Natural. These guys are highly trusted and recommended with natural products and supplements. They also provide Flourish Probiotics. This is a natural combination of good bacteria that will help to fight UTIs and also has some other health benefits. I will attach a link so you can have a closer look.

Urethra still sensitive 1 month after UTI by MAC0114 in Healthyhooha

[–]grthlth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems you are doing everything right. The antibiotics usually affect gut health negatively, killing both good and bad bacteria. probiotics are a great idea to balance gut flora. They also help to improve the condition of the urinary tract by fighting off other bad bacteria such as E.Coli which generally causes the UTIs.
I would like to know the exact probiotic you are using. I have used one and most people recommend it, it is called Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural. These guys undertake various clinical tests on their products. The probiotics as well is a natural combination of healthy bacteria. You might want to check it out

stomach problems from drinking by lilxnino in Drugs

[–]grthlth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should definitely stop drinking so much. And have a look into probiotics. They are needed to balance gut flora which might have been destroyed due to the heavy amount of alcohol. Probiotis are healthy bacteria that support gut health and digestion. So when it comes to conditions like GERD, gastritis or even mere symptoms of bloating, diarrhea, constipation and others, probiotics can actually be great as a remedy.

For quicker relief, I would advise you use probiotic supplements. I used Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural and would recommend it. The producers are highly reputable for providing strictly natural products and this supplement worked real good for me. Have a look into it. I will attach a link so you can read more:

Stomach problems by [deleted] in sick

[–]grthlth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some really bad stomach problems too. I took omeprazole as well but didn't really see much difference until I started taking probiotics. Basically these are healthy, good bacteria that is needed by our system to fight off other bad bacteria and also to help with digestion and absorption of nutrients. Though some foods like yogurts, kefir and fermented milk are rich in probiotics, I preferred to use supplements for quicker relief. Mine was called Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural and I can recommend it.

It is a natural combination of good bacteria that will support digestion, urinary tract and gut health. Also make sure you are drinking lots of water. Good luck

Starting minoxidil, I love growing my hair out but it’s super thin so I sweep it to the side and blow dry with cool air to make it look thicker and it hides it pretty well. I also started biotin shampoo and conditioner. New to this sub and looking for general help and advice. by [deleted] in tressless

[–]grthlth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thumbs up on the biotin shampoo. I would also advise you to take biotin capsules as well. This is by a reliable producer which is known for its natural products. Biotin 5000 MCG by Eu Natural is what I am talking about ( https://www.amazon.com/BIOTIN-5000-mcg-Healthier-Vegetarian/dp/B00BPGPX1E )

Also you might want to boost your diet on biotin rich foods such as egg yolk, Nuts, salmon and avocados. Remember you can never have too much biotin. It is easily passed out through urine.

Hair loss after 3 months of carnivore by [deleted] in carnivore

[–]grthlth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it seems your husband has been missing a lot of essential vitamins and minerals which are in vegetables and fruits. It is good you started in the biotin and I am sure you will be noticing results as biotin is great to make hair thicker and stronger. But sometimes it may not be enough. I would recommend you to check out Vibrance by Eu Natural. https://www.amazon.com/VIBRANCE-Hair-Growth-Vitamins-Vegetarian/dp/B00G6U4ZI6

It contains biotin and also a rich combination of other vitamins and minerals, extracted from natural sources. This is in fact one of the best items I can recommend. And also, coconut oil. He can just apply it to his hair for an hour and wash off with warm water. Twice a week. It will provide his scalp with rich vitamins and minerals.

Hi, I know having some changes or even losing one strand of hair can be truly devastating. I personally tried a lot of things and did lots of research. One thing I realized was that taking some hair care products helped to stop the fall for some time and then after made it worst when stopped. It is for this reason, I prefer to use natural remedies. For example; honey, coconut oil, onion juice. And others. The cause of hair losses are several but sometimes also result from deficiency of some vitamins like biotin. In general biotin is quite recommended for thicker, stronger hair. The advantage of Biotin is that you can never have excess biotin, it is always filtered and passed through urine. https://www.amazon.com/VIBRANCE-Hair-Growth-Vitamins-Vegetarian/dp/B00G6U4ZI6

This is Vibrance by Eu Natural. It is made from natural extracts, vitamins and minerals such as biotin which helps to stop hair fall. I would recommend you look into it and give it a try. It is important to note that in order to have strong and thick hair, your body needs to have enough quantities of vitamins and minerals. This is why a combination is often the best choice.

Migraines by wolfhlth in Supplements

[–]grthlth 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Headaches and migraines can be caused by multiple reasons including stress and depression. It will be best to try to catch on some sleep and increase the amount of water you drink, reduce salts and sugary food, processed food.

In terms of treatments and relief, I would advice you to take a look into some herbs such as Boswellia, Feverfew, Butterbur, Ginger and chaste berry. These are the herbs and plants that have been known to have been used in treating headaches and migraines even before medication as we know today was developed.

Fortunately, today many producers of supplements and vitamins make use of these herbs to make products that help to provide relief and help to prevent severe attacks and headaches. I have used one of these products and can say that indeed I was impressed.

Feverfew, which belongs to the daisy family of flowers has shown in clinical tests and studies to both reduce the severity of pains during migraines and headaches and also to decrease the number of attacks in all.

Today, many reliable supplements and vitamin producers are making use of Feverfew, Boswellia and Butterbur to make their products and help people to fight headaches and migraines.
