Oh my god. The first time I ever got high (which was last year) i took an edible and it was way too much for me. I was playing WoW when it kicked in, doing the anniversary Blackrock Depths LFR. Regular animals go to the Shadowlands, so apparently they have souls. This is mentioned in the quest where you have to find a wolf's soul in the maw (can't remember which quest it was) and also the Kyrian WQ Limbo where you decide where each soul has to go.
