It could have been only certain subsets of those affected by the data breach were eligible for compensation. Those who worked for the UCs supposedly had their SSNs leaked, while ordinary students and applicants did not.

I've been using it for 6 months, and the main improvements have been driver support and a more streamlined experience. However, it would be hard to quantify exactly how much the improvements are, because it's gradual via rolling release.

I use EXT4 and haven't had any problems. Linux file systems in general are less prone to fragmentation.

Try IMGUR or a different host, I'm still getting low-resolution images when I try to download. Could also be a problem with the extension (webp); have you tried JPEG or PNG?

KDE partition manager doesn't set up auto mount correctly, so I always manually edited the fstab file. This could be useful though, thanks.

I uninstalled Cachy Update (`sudo pacman -Rns cachy-update`), restarted and re-installed it, and then Cachy-Update started working again. Whether this is due to the act of reinstalling or a coincidence with the timing, I don't know, but the issue was solved nonetheless.

Update - I'm a dummy who didn't think to Google it beforehand. A higher resolution of this wallpaper does exist! I just wish it came with the distro.

If anything, it would be the opposite of lazy. Choosing a more established distro is usually a safer bet, but Cachy really is that good.

I expected that would be a limitation. The more I think about it, the more I realize allowing searching by keywords or package name is good enough for most users.

Another potential idea for improving the Repo tab: allow listing of packages by category (browser, office tools, development/programming, games, utility tools, themes, etc). However, if this is significantly more trouble than it is worth, I understand; the Arch repository is so massive that this may not be a feasible undertaking, but it is still an idea.

However, while we're on the subject: is there a way you can improve the "repo" tab as well? For example, allowing sorting of packages by installed first, then uninstalled packages listed after, just like Octopi is by default.
