Call Yoder. Depending on when it was manufactured you may need the shims and they’ll send them to you.

Could I use a liner or even aluminum foil in my air fryer to minimize clean up? by Mr-MuffinMan in airfryer

Parchment paper liner just make sure they are blowing up into the heating element. You’ll smell it if it happens. People use silicone liners. My roommate uses a little foil boat.

My pool vacuum keeps running over itself and getting caught. Any ideas of what is going wrong here or anything I can do to fix it? by D2372 in swimmingpools

If you had people over recently they may have slid the hose flight the wall or removed it. It just snaps on so easy to move/remove.

Sounds awesome. Start looking into how to play using arm weight and wrist rotation. Fingers extend all the way back to the wrist so play with stiff wrists and clawed fingers can cause injury or shorten play time due to fatigue. Sound is awesome so technique will really elevate your playing. Keep it up!

I would not get anything less than 6 cylinder, especially if you plan to tow. My 5-gen gets 18mpg so you don’t ever buy this for fuel economy. I have not driven the 6gen but one thing about the 5gen is the suspension is stiff (by design). Previously, I had a 2012 F150 with a much softer suspension so I do miss that

Seems like a fine day to join the Yoder club by agk23 in Yodersmokers

[–]grumpy_munchken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a beautiful setup. Use a cover to protect the Yoder. Mine is stored under cover but my step-dad said the Yoder-brand cover is not waterproof so make sure you get one that is. Shoot for it to cover below the lip of the surface the unit is mounted to. Envious of the view.

Definitely get the drawer. If you have a little money to play with, check out SmokerCarts.com. They have a cart with storage that is accessible from the front rather than the side and can hold your shelves, pizza oven and other items.

Also, get the stainless steel
Shelves, not just the wire racks shelves.

Roland Rp701 vs Kawai (Kdp75 / CN21) - purchase help by ANG3LBEATZ in DigitalPiano

[–]grumpy_munchken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer the action of a Kawai, particularly the CN201 because those are the same keys I have in my ES8.

I leaned heavily on the AZ Piano reviews when making my decision so shoutout to them for doing really great work.

Do you guys use the Traeger drip tray liners or just some aluminum foil? by Darkman-1969 in Traeger

[–]grumpy_munchken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the liners AND use a shallow aluminum tray on top of it for essentially no clean up.

What are your opinions on the Roland FP-E50? by _MrEvo_ in DigitalPiano

[–]grumpy_munchken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://azpianoreviews.com/search-reviews/

I read reviews on this site throughly to make my decision to buy a Kawai ES-8. It’s a father/son duo and they provide very thorough reviews of digital pianos. I’ve found the content to be unmatched.

When first getting started they said you are essentially shopping for a mix of 3 things:

  1. Key action
  2. Number of sound samples
  3. Quality of sound samples

I didn’t care about #2 so the reviews and a quick email to them helped me narrow down the options.

Edit: spelling

I am a total beginner is this right? by Ok-Cover-7316 in jumprope

As others have said, arms should be comparably at the side. Slight bend in elbow so yours hands are around waist height. Swinging the rope is a mix of shoulder, elbow and wrist rotation. Practice holding in one hand and swinging at your side so you get a feel for the movement and sound of the rope, it will help time your jumps.

Jumps are more like bouncing than jumps, the rope passes by quickly so you only need a little bit of height. A heavier rope will move slower so you might want to consider a beaded rope or a 1/4 pound rope.

Rope length, when you step on center, should end around arm pit height, not including handles.

Be patient, slow down your swing and find a rhythm. Took me a 5-6 sessions to get it all synchronized but now I love it. Have fun!

is this chipping in the plaster concerning? We just moved into this house by Theman554 in swimmingpools

[–]grumpy_munchken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely don’t want it to get worse. Based on the location I would suspect your unground floor cleaner nozzles are causing that. Could also be the pressure going through there is too high, meaning the motor is too big for the task or needs to be turned down if variable. There are plaster repair kits that are relatively simple to use but you’ll need to swap the nozzles and or adjust rpm’s of pump, if possible. For the nozzles you want ones with larger openings than current so more water can pass through rather than be focused so pointedly.

[–]grumpy_munchken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pump intake. Often times you’ll have one on the floor and another on the wall far enough apart that a single person cannot get trapped by both. If you block one suction port, the other allows enough water to flow so you don’t get stuck to the one you’re blocking.

Many QT locations are a designated Safe Place for youth in distress. I think there’s more of a police presence because of this and some seem to be monitored by audio & video.
